I’m seeking a literate, detail-oriented writing partner for a gritty, morally complex roleplay with strong noir undertones.
Characters (We can share the responsibility lot of Character 3. All names can be changed!)
Character 1 - John: The son of an infamous mob boss, fast climbing his way up the ladder of the criminal underworld.
Character 2 - Lily: The girlfriend of Character 3. She’s trapped in a controlling, abusive relationship and starting to feel suffocated, her fear slowly boiling into resentment.
Character 3 - Matty: A rising, ruthless mobster from a rival family. Dangerous, paranoid, and prone to cruelty.
I like to keep prompts rather vague so we spitball ideas together and change what needs be, but the premise is…
One night, Lily has a one-night stand with a stranger named John. Neither of them knows who the other is… until later on that night, when the truth surfaces. From there on out, lies, blackmail, and bloodshed threaten to spiral out of control as the three lives collide in a storm of violence and obsession.
I want to lean heavily into dark romance, psychological warfare, and moral corruption. Violence, betrayal, and tragedy are all welcome! I’m a sucker for a dark storyline.
