♡Helloo. I'm Marla Brookstone(OC Name, and my persona on here). I'm a female, age 16. Been obsessed with roleplays since I started doing Wings of Fire(WOF) roleplays at age 13.♡

I can't wait to develop my characters story in some canon roleplays for her.

Here's her outline:

Name:

Marla Blackstone

Gender: Female

Age:

16

Species:

Hyde

---

Appearance (Human Form):

Marla stands about 5’6”, pale and fine-boned, with sharp features that seem almost sculpted from porcelain. Her black hair hangs straight and heavy around her face, usually tucked behind one ear. Her eyes are storm-gray, often looking dull or tired until they suddenly flick upward with unsettling intensity.

She dresses in dark, layered clothes — black wool sweaters, pleated skirts, and scuffed lace-up boots. She keeps a silver chain bracelet that once belonged to her father; it’s the only piece of jewelry she ever wears.

Even in human form, there’s something off about her — the way she moves too quietly, or how her expression lingers too long between emotions, as if she’s studying people more than feeling with them.

---

Appearance (Hyde Form):

When Marla transforms, she becomes a 7-foot-tall creature of muscle and sinew. Her limbs are elongated and powerful, with clawed fingers that can easily shred through metal. Her skin turns grayish and leathery, stretched taut over her frame, showing every cord of muscle beneath.

Her head is slightly oversized, dominated by two huge, round, pale eyes with tiny pinprick irises, giving her a constant, manic stare. Her mouth widens impossibly, splitting nearly to her ears, filled with rows of thin, needle-sharp teeth.

She can’t speak — only growl, screech, or hiss. Her breath is loud, heavy, and feral. The transformation leaves her covered in faint scars where her human skin once strained to contain the monster underneath.

---

Personality (Human Form):

Marla is quiet, analytical, and often mistaken for emotionless. In truth, she feels everything too strongly — that’s what makes her dangerous. She has a dark sense of humor and a deep fascination with psychology and anatomy, a reflection of her father’s old profession.

She’s deeply mistrustful of authority and rarely opens up to anyone. But despite her isolation, she has a strange protectiveness toward people who remind her of her father — gentle, moral, or curious types.

Marla doesn’t fear her Hyde. She resents it, but she also relies on it, the way someone might rely on a locked door to protect them at night.

---

Backstory:

Marla was born to Victor and Evelyn Blackstone, two brilliant but deeply flawed scientists. Her father, a forensic psychologist, believed every human had a “dark architecture” in their mind that could either be healed or unleashed. Her mother, a biochemist, believed she could control it.

Their marriage became a war between philosophy and obsession. One night, after years of violent arguments, Marla woke to the sound of glass breaking and her mother screaming. She ran to the kitchen — and saw her father dead on the floor. Her mother claimed it was self-defense. Marla never believed her.

After the incident, Evelyn poured herself into her research, isolating Marla and forcing her into “treatments” meant to suppress “violent tendencies.” The injections burned her veins, left her feverish for days. But Evelyn said it was for her own good — “to keep you from ending up like him.”

At 14, Marla’s body finally broke under the pressure.

---

First Transformation:

It happened in the basement laboratory. Evelyn had strapped Marla to a table, intending to administer one last serum. Marla was terrified — the needle was enormous, the liquid inside dark and sludgy. She screamed, the fear spiking into rage when her mother ignored her.

Something inside her snapped. Bones cracked. Muscles tore and reformed. Her back arched violently as her hands warped into claws.

Her mother stepped back in horror — and that’s when Marla’s humanity vanished. The Hyde emerged.

When the police arrived, they found the lab destroyed — walls slashed, furniture splintered. Evelyn’s body was mangled beyond recognition. They called it a “chemical accident.” Only Marla survived, curled in a corner, trembling and covered in blood that wasn’t hers.

---

Current Life:

At 16, Marla was sent to a Mental Asylum. Only the director, who happens to be a supernatural knows what she truly is. She’s under constant watch — therapy sessions, supervised chemistry labs, and a strict medication schedule meant to “stabilize her.”
