I feel like buying and drinking alcohol in front of him could be good natured. Especially between dudes. (Speaking as a dude.) Like, the whole "iron sharpens iron: thing. Kaelen trusting him to not give in, helping Vitek strengthen his self control. Something Gregor would openly encourage him do to.
FYI, Gregor sees such potential in both of them, and knows they can hone one another. He believes in their sacred and wild strength. He wants to guide them to control, but wants them to be able to unleash their full power when necessary.

The second, Kaelen thinks that something might be off, or maybe he has pushed too far or anything of the kind, he will be quick to fix his mistake, if that's tossing out some alcohol, then so be it.
He never wants to harm Vitek; he genuinely wants to be friends.
But I can totally see Kaelen trying to push Vitek, trying to help him out in any way he can.
I think that he does try to rub it off as a mean thing just because he doesn't think Vitek would willingly accept his help, even less if it's played off as something like pity.

It was a pleasant surprise! Vitek would take the jesting faux-grumpily at first, mostly because he doesn't like his recess and privacy to be encroached upon. But when you live with tracking wolves, well he would have to deal with it lol. He'd deff remark that point, a joke back about he thought he was being followed, but also a subtle nod to Kaelen on his sneaky prioress. Just don't poke the bear too hard lol.
I think Vitek's main concern would be not blowing whatever cover they have as Pack members(two scarred dudes in a bar seem about right tho). He has a growing soft spot for the peace he has found in Paris as it were.

I reckon Kaelen really likes Vitek, he thinks he's fun to be around.
They don't go around pitying each other, and I think they're both good-natured and can talk a bit of teasing.
I reckon they could have a really cute 'brother' like relationship.
As I said, Kaelen would never intentionally harm Vitek in any way.
He's super conscious of harming people he cares about, and if he ever did it, he would probably be on his knees begging for forgiveness.
If anyone asks, they can just say they're in a fucking book club or something T^T
