Hello all, you can call me Myth!
I've been roleplaying off and on for years now but I would say it didn't really become a public hobby until the pandemic on discord. In my early years I would roleplay on a website that truely was cut throat, hahaha!! You would throw out your characters introduction into an active chat room and if anyone saw what they liked they would reply,if you didn't like their vibe you would ignore them and keep writing for your character (Hoping they didnt blow up your DMs which were called whispers) until someone that matched your energy came along. If you really hit it off, you would exchange times and try to be available in the chat forums when they were on, it was crazy!! All that to say, I like intuitive character driven writers who uphold quality over quantity. Writers who enjoy reading as much as they enjoy writing, I hate godmodding and meta writers. I love risk takers, I believe in trust between writing partners, to me it's more of a fluid dance if I had to say? In my opinion when someone reads through what's written between each writer it should flow more like a story than a fragmented script.
My favorite genres are:
Fantasy
Horror
Action
Drama
Romance
Sci-fi
"Coming of age"
Least favorite:
Slice of life
Historic
I do perfer my stories and partners 18+, I like for the story to go where ever it's going without restraints.
I perfer groups over one on one, Oh! I'm a guy by the way,I'm bi but I do tend to lean towards men ( For like, romance and Stuff).
I'm an artist and tend to draw my characters, I perfer drawn references over irl ones, hopefully more obscure pictures if they must be well known (if the character looks like superman, maybe a confident picture clark kent in civilian clothes or a custom suit picture someone may have drawn?).
Hopefully this isn't too much a hassle to read, thank you for your time!
