Born into a rich family of wealth and money, her family has "great" plans for their beautiful and smart daughter. But Amy May has never really cared about money and wealth or the "family business". She has always had dreams of flying through a great forest. As if something, or someone, was calling out to her, calling her to come home. Unknown to her parents and family, she enrolls into the Avatar Program created by Grace Augustine. Saying goodbye to Earth and her family, she secretly runs away to Pandora, becoming an Avatar driver. Feeling this is her home, she forsakes her Human Body and becomes full Na'Vi, finding Pandora to be her real home. Falling in love, she escapes with her Mate to explore Pandora and what it has to offer, taking down RDA mining operations in during their adventures to help protect the Na'Vi and their Homeworld.
She has a strong alliance with Jake Sully and the Omaticaya Clan and fights in tbe Tree if Souls battle with Jake Sully and the Omaticaya, despite having become the Tsahik of her Clan.
