Hi everyone, I'm Lith, an older millennial who's been roleplaying for, gosh, almost 20 years now. It started by accident on a forum about anime (Sailor Moon) and then moved into proper play-by-chat about Harry Potter.
All the credits to Nero, with whom I hope to write with @pinkcherrysugar, for the structure below. I founds their introduction so useful and clean!
My writing style:
- British English. Although I am not a native speaker, I live in the UK!
- Third person
- Show-don't-tell descriptive style. Thoughts are kept to the minimum.
- Present tense
- Around 200 words per post as I re-join the community. Open to go for more/match you
- University or Slice of life settings preferred
- Own OC
What I look for fellow writers who:
- are over 21+ is not negotiable - with preference for fellow millennial
- massively prefer show-don't-tell kind of writing
- care for grammar and style, but can be flexible to humour and a good laugh
- enjoy discovering the plot together, through writing, and are game to whatever happens
- are happy to start a 1-to-1 within a defined setting (we say 'boarding school in England' or 'Sailor Moon's Tokyo)
- or enjoy group sessions with no more than 4 people
- only have adults OC
Plots I enjoy:
- Slice of life
- character development
- friendship, romance
Plots I will avoid:
- heavy angst
- mental health
- violence
- trauma
Settings/fandoms I am happy to write for:
- Stranger Things
- Harry Potter
- Gossip Girl
- Sailor Moon
- University settings
- Urban fantasy
- Bridgeton
- Kpop!?
Hobbies and interests:I love reading, mostly classics and fantasy. I binge watch tv series. Have the longest Spotify Liked playlist because I like to listen to new songs and get recommendation from friends.
