Okay, so a basic premise but;

Okay, so I kinda want help with an RP Prompt!

I have Saoirse, a trans girl and the youngest of 5 siblings at 18. Her big sister passed when she was three, her mom walked just after and she barely remembers them.

I absolutely love the idea that she comes out, and finds herself getting into a group of six popular girls who all protect and support her in various ways (For example, maybe they all give her clothes they claim don't fit or suit them, ir were worn once. Soairse realises they're all brand new). Maybe give her a cheer outfit so she matches them? Or little things like walking her to class, casually standing up for her. Painting her nails, etc.)

She's scared of her dad finding out, and he is more upset she thinks he'd be upset. He doesn't fully understand everything, but he loves and accepts her regardless. Maybe he empties the garage of junk to give her her own space? Inviting the six girls over to decorate the room for her with their own touches?

I kinda want her and the group leader to grow closest. Unknown to them, Saoirse's sister had been best friends with *her* sister growing up. After Saoirse's sister passed, the families found it too painful to remain in touch so they never became friends until now.

But I love the idea they naturally become best friends, reflecting their sisters. How they fall asleep against each other on long trips, the way they laugh together, the way they perform when cheering.

Photos of them mirror photos from 14 years ago.

At one point, her dad gifts her something that had been locked away in an "off-limits". An old dark blue varsity jacket, cream sleeves and gold lettering. On the back, in gold lettering? Her sister's name, Morgan and the number 7. Saoirse's number.

Plot points I would love to be woven in;

The six girls do NOT know Saoirse's sisters story. The leader may vaguely know of a girl her older sister mentions who passed prior to graduation but not who she is?

I was looking at weaving in subplots with Saoirse's mother trying to step back into her life and ultimately getting rejected.

"You left because of grief. I understand. But I don't forgive. You hurt my dad and brothers when they were grieving Harper. You don't get to come back after 14 years and play the doting mom now."

I was also looking at weaving "7" in as a motif. Saoirse was the 7th name on a list when she was considering new names. It's 7 letters.

Her dad is a Firefighter working on Ladder 7?

Her locker combo is "007" and she was born July 7th.

She's the 7th friend.

All coincidences but keep it as a running theme. Maybe she always reads at around 7pm but never realised why?

It's also a number that was never used on Varsity Cheer/Cheer Squad between Harper's death and Saoirse joining. There's some apprehension and pushback from Alumni, parents and teachers who knew Harper until they see Saoirse in the jacket and realise the connection and that it's being worn to honor the sister she never met.

And maybe explore the fact her brothers all wore 7 on Basketball or Football teams and it's now only an issue that a trans girl wears her sister's number?

And the *fallout* at school, the division and the comments after getting the jacket.

Saoirse is close to tears when a teacher tells her it's a distraction in class when a throat clears.

"She's a distraction? look a' me." A strong Cajun accent rings out. A girl who's 6 foot tall, dressed in a leather jacket, chains, ripped jeans and combat boots. Hair spiked up in a bright red mohawk.

A moment where Saoirse receives a teddy bear with a message her sister recorded, where she hears both her voice and the nickname only she use "Sunbeam".

Weave in a constant song. Playing on the radio, or Saoirse humming it. *Golden Slumbers* (The Beatles song) was a lullaby that Harper sung when Saoirse (before using that name of course) was going to bed. It also ties to *Golden Numbers* being the title of the RP.

Dealing with the stark reality there will be protests and people against Saoirse being allowed in squad and to even *exist how she does*. Not everyone will accept, no forced morals or acceptances. No lessons learnt.

A constant bully woven through who is framed as bigoted, but also deeply jealous of Saoirse because she's got talent and people genuinely *like* her. The bully is just a not very nice person, and her targeting isn't purely based on Saoirse's gender identity but a mix of that and jealousy.

She gets kicked off the squad after refusing to catch Saoirse resulting in an injured ankle. It's pretty much known that it was intended, but can't be proven.

She tries to frame this as "cancel culture" and being targeted for her views, approaching local blogs and papers with her parents threatening legal action until it's made clear this stepped being views and into physical harm.

I'm debating if to have the antagonist have a lot of her views influenced by parents and TV, parroting talking points without actually understanding them?

There's a few stragglers that side with her, but most either don't care that there's a trans girl in school or they like Saoirse so it's not gonna work.

And I absolutely love the idea she thinks a Muslim teammate will agree with her, really leaning into her prejudiced views.

And the Muslim girl's only answer is to remove her Hijab in front of Saoirse before practise.

"I only remove this around my sisters."

Saoirse refusing to accept an apology. Framing it as not a personal thing but "You could have hurt anyone of us. You're sorry you got kicked out, not because of what you were doing to me."

The thing that really steps the line is when the antagonist tries to damage the jacket. That's not just damaging someone's property, it's not just bullying a trans student. It's desecrating someone's memory.

And the line Saoirse comes out with through trembling words and tears?

"You get to hug your sister. I don't."

The antagonist wanted that number 7 and was refused it. To her, Saoirse is an Imposter. Someone not born as a girl. Someone who "stole her number", Someone who joined later but is more talented and works just as hard.

She accuses Saoirse of trying to "claim a dead girl's identity" in a class and the utter silence. Maybe in art, where the teacher *knew* Harper? Grew up with her before working here? Is absolutely furious that someone dares speak for a girl she knew.

Is it bad I've realised I can lean into a her doing malicious compliance?

was told that she can't wear "7" on her cheer uniform because it was her sister''s number. Unofficially retired after she died.

So she walks out in Harper's old uniform. Technically not breaking the rules because it's not *her uniform*

I had an idea of introducing the idea that the windchimes on the house always sound on Soairse's birthday at 7am, even if the wind is still.

Not leaning into the supernatural, but Soairse sees it as Harper saying hello?

Saoirse finding a dream catcher of a golden sun, which lives over her bed?

She walks the stage at graduation wearing her sister's jacket.

I'm leaning into making "Anne of Green Gables" her favourite book. A redheaded girl who feels out of place.

I was thinking in terms of plot points, introducing the jacket as a "good luck charm".

The one time she doesn't wear it? The football team they're cheering for lose *badly*.

It's never 100% that it's a good luck talisman, but like the windchimes is left open ended.
