I've been thinking about this couple for a while now and I'm just obsessed with it.
Basically, the plot is canon‑compliant: it takes place when Ryan is working for Dunder Mifflin as a temp and starts to get to know his boss, Michael. We can go either into slow‑burn with sex as the starting point for their relationship (where they start falling for each other), or we can build something more romantic.
!!! Still, smut is a big part of this RP, so please be at least 18 years old!
Let's say Ryan is becoming an obsession to Michael (which kinda happens in the series lol), getting dragged to all the important meetings: business trips, conferences, forced to sit in Michael's office half the day and bring him coffee. So Ryan basically becomes Michael's assistant, with little or no time left for sales. And he doesn't really resist, because Michael hires him full‑time with a good salary.
While Michael clearly finds Ryan hot but is still confused about his sexuality, Ryan is eager to help Michael figure it out; he wants to keep being his boss's favourite, and… he finds Michael quite attractive too, at least when he doesn't make weird jokes in the humor style he can't get used to yet.
One day, when Michael is absent, saying he got sick, he doesn't stop disturbing Ryan with calls and messages, wanting him to come over to his place. Whether Michael is really ill or not, it's up to you!
