So my two questions are:

1.Can I put a track in my signature or will that cause problems for the guild? Problems such as would the embedded sound auto play or would it out a strain on the site itself and so on.

2.Secondly if I made a thread where would it go, would it go into the member lounge or the off topic section?

I am a producer though I am not trying to promote my music, more into looking out for flaws and good criticism. I am not selling any of it but some can be downloaded via my SoundCloud account. The problem I have with this is there are always a bad egg in the bunch which makes me feel pretty shitty of myself. It has been about a year since I went from my work is crap to my work is OK-Good. I am hoping to make a neutral zone for the thread so only the good and helpful comments are seen, it will be hard but not impossible. Also I want to hear other peoples stuff as I am pretty much open to most if not all music.

Anyway knowing now would be helpful.

I am not the most technically savvy so I cannot answer all your questions but I will do what I can.

I do know that Auto-play is not allowed, so a track in your sig is fine, if it doesn't auto-play.

As for where to put a thread full of your music, I would suggest the Gallery which is where creative works of all kinds (writing, art, music etc) typically go. But member lounge wouldn't be out of the question either.

I may put it in a hider, since I am not sure how to deal with the auto play stuff. Hiders keep it from playing if I remember until the tab is pressed which I assume is correct. But maybe I will be able to figure it out, maybe.
