I've been dying to do a role play based upon the .hack series and real world advancements with video game technology. Is anybody interested in such an rp?? I feel as if it'll be a waste of time if I type it all out, post it but then get no takers.

One question: Which version of The World are we working with? I watched the show, played the first series of games, as well as the first installment of G.U. It doesn't particularly matter to me which one we do, I am just curious.

Edit: If I misunderstood your intention when you said 'based on', let me know. I got all excited when I saw .hack. Any kind of VR-MMORPG based RP appeals to me and I am still super interested.

Good question. In fact I'm using aspects of the world of GU but basing a lot of what is happening off the original series. Much is to be learned about Alba, which is "The World's" true name. I'll give you a free inside look <3

Alright, awesome! I'll be subscribing to keep track of this. Also considering playing a Heavy Blade. Is the cross-class thing still a thing and will it factor into character creation; or are you thinking of having most folk start at a lower level?

I sent you a substantial amount of information regarding your questions.

I wanted to make the rp a bit different and less cliche with the entire leveling system, so the focus on "levels" has been taken out so to speak.

I'm sorry to say this, but in the last 24 hours it has become apparent that life likes to be really annoying, so I may not be able to partake in this depending on how the week goes. Apologies in advance, in case I end up unable to say it later.

EDIT: Though if I am around for this little batch of goodness, I'm going with either a Harvest Cleric, Shadow Warlock Steam Gunner, or Lord Partizan. It's pending based on what other classes we have and what we need, same for my character's gender, as I'll try and even things out.
