She is a bit of a rebel. She is a very proud individual and is not above manipulating people for her own gain. She hides behind an exterior of ice and frostiness and she is very independent. She has a bit of temper when provoked and she holds grudges for a very long time. She is very blunt and will not hesitate to say what's on her mind. But deep down inside she is caring and nice though most people do not see this side of her. She can loose confidence in herself very quickly but she covers this up with sharp words and looks to hide her vulnerability.
Lydia lived a happy life with her little brother and mother. They lived just outside the town in a small house. Life was good but soon it all came crashing down. There were reports that people were going missing in town and her mother became worried, not letting Lydia or Henry(her brother) out when it got dark. But it was all in vain. Lydia awoke one night to screams and when she finally stumbled into her mothers room, there was a man leaning over her mother and Lydia watched in numbed horror as the monster ripped out her mothers throat and...drank her blood. The fiend turned blood red eyes on her and was about the pounce but Henry ran into the room and froze. The creature pounced onto him instead and sank razor sharp fangs into the little boys neck. Lydia tried to run but she was quickly pinned in the kitchen. The vampire tried to bite her as well but his fangs just cut her neck slightly, not enough to do damage but enough to leave a scar. Lydia floundered and grabbed a butcher knife that had fallen from the countertop and onto the floor. Using all of her strength, she drove the knife up and into the monsters heart. He disintegrated before her eyes and Lydia was left sobbing on the floor. In the morning she packed her bags and left, not knowing where she was going. She was lucky enough to meet an older man in her travels and upon seeing the scars on her neck, knew what happened to her and told her all about vampires and even trained her to hunt them and protect herself.
She is terrified of thunderstorms, heights, and enclosed/tight spaces. She is also very light on her feet and is very agile.
