It's been awhile since I've made one of these, so please bear with me. :)
As I think of things, I'll edit this topic.
I suppose I should get started with the basics of what I like and don't like, as well as what I'm looking for.
-- I'm a friendly person. I like to chat OOC, whether it's about random shit or ideas for the story. I'd prefer a partner who is the same. It gets a little boring after a while if all we ever do is post in the roleplay with little to no communication OOC other than how to progress the story. I don't use Skype, AIM or any other type of messenger. If not in forums, I will play through PM or email. That's it.
-- That being said, please bring ideas to the table! Shoot ideas at me for the plot, new characters, etc... Don't make me do all the work myself! And be prepared for plot twists here and there, because I WILL shoot them at you OOC. I'm a big fan of plot twists. Don't worry, though! I usually try to keep them within the realm of reality.
-- My schedule ranges from lazy to hectic. Most weeks I'll post every day or several times a day, but there will be the occasional week where I only post a few times in the entire week. Real life will always come before play. Sorry. Just because I'm home most of the time doesn't mean I'm constantly available to post. I will do my best to make sure the wait between replies is rarely more than a day or two, but please be patient. I will let you know ahead of time if I'm going to be unable to post for more than a couple of days, barring some natural disaster that knocks out my internet and therefore renders me incapable of communication. Please don't pressure me about replies unless I've been MIA for at least four or five days.
-- I play male or female, and will do MxM or FxM. A slight word of warning: In MxM roleplays, I will turn down an 'uke' partner if I am playing too many 'seme' or 'seke' roles already.
-- I like romance. I like smut. I like suspense, angst, humor, sarcasm... I do NOT like death or obscene amounts of gore. I tend to shy away from magic as I've never quite mastered playing it and can't seem to wrap my head around it. I do like supernatural themes and pairings, but I love modern realistic themes as well. I will play fandoms, though I'm not familiar with very many of them. I love Kpop themes and pairings.
-- My posting range varies. I will never post less than at least two decent paragraphs, but I have been known to post as many as six or seven paragraphs on a good day with an awesome plot and equally creative partner. I'm not a big fan of placing minimum or maximum limits on posting length, so if you're wanting to set a minimum then keep on walking. I will tell you no in a heartbeat. If you're a fan of both quality and quantity with more emphasis on the quality, by all means keep reading. :)
-- Controversial... I am 24 years old. I do mature, adult-oriented content on occasion. If you want anything considered too adult for forum play, I am open to taking the play to PM or email (the entire roleplay, mind you. Not just the mature parts. I don't like hopping back and forth between forums and PM/email for the same roleplay). If you do not do mature themes that's fine and dandy! We'll set everything up in forums and play there! I'm just as happy with fading to black in a romance. (Note: In a romance roleplay, please don't expect the romance to take up the entire plot. Revolve around different aspects of it, yes.)
I do not have many fandoms I'm familiar with. Apologies. I will edit this list as I recall more of them, but these are the ones that spring to mind right off the bat.

For the following, the bolded words are the position/character I prefer. In the cases where MxM or MxF is not specified, either position/character is fine. Also in those cases, I will only accept the same character/position once. If it is crossed out, that position is already being played by me in a roleplay.

Instead, I'm giving some of the groups with members I've used before (whether in roleplay or fan fiction) or would like to use. If you're paying attention, they're all boy bands or male solo artists. Yes, I'm aware of this. It's because when it comes to K-pop, I always do MxM. Again, guilty pleasure, even when the roleplay is purely innocent. :)
