Hello there! My name's Venessa, but you can call me Ven or Venom also. I'm here to roleplay, make friends and just have some fun, really.
I'm 22. I'm kind of gothic, I guess. I love myself and all. Like I'm not trying to be extreme or anything, I just have some odd tastes & I feel kind of out of place in modern society. And I like dark things, that most other people find scary.
I am always pretty open to trying new things. I consider myself a really nice person and people tend to mistake that as a weakness. But then I dress kind of crazy and people tend to mistake that as a harshness. So I guess it balances out in the end.
I'm an honest, down to earth kind of girl. I believe that knowledge is power, and that willful ignorance is bad for humanity. I'm a promoter of the fact you have to work hard to get what you want in life.
Music. Music is a HUGE part of my existence. I like alot of different types of music, but metal is my asolute total favorite. Real metal, not garbage like Korn or MCR. Actual talented musicians who play good metal. Like everything from Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden to Amon Amarth & Behemoth. And I'm into a ton of obscure American bands like Warbringer, Starkill, Demonic Christ and Skeletonwith.
Like I said, I'm not just into metal though. It's just what I love most. I also listen to classical, opera, classic rock, some country, some underground hip-hop and industrial music.
I am usually optimistic and somewhat outgoing. But I'm still working on my confidence and can be kind of shy. My sense of humor is pretty dark and offbeat.
I enjoy movies of all kinds but mostly action, horror and comedy. I haven't watched tv or listened to the radio in years. I just don't enjoy modern mainstream music & haven't seen anything good on tv for a long time. Every so often I'll listen to the NPR news or watch some stand up comedy, but that's about it.
I want to write more. I enjoy writing about dark fantasy stuff like savage rituals, strange occultism, monsters, witches, demons and incomprehensible gods. I'm not a big fan of your standard heroic quest kind of thing. I like a bit more complexity and strangeness.
