She was raised primarily by her mother and she was so happy to be going to Hogwarts. A lot of people didnt like her all that much to start with, besides her house mates. A lot of people still dont, all because of her fathers stupid mistake. She has to live with his decision. It probably doesn't help that she is particularly great at potion making and the Dark Arts.
