Piper Vaugh is a music major at the local college. She's a determined musician and will do anything to get to play with one of the best symphonies in the world. She spends most of her day practicing, and if not practicing, she's writing music, and has no time for romance of any sort.
Until they came along. Suddenly, as she's writing her next piece, she can't get their name out of their head, or all their notes sound off because this one person is the only thought on her mind.
Except Piper is determined to stay out of romance. She begins to push away after she realizes the feelings she developed. Because all that she wants in life is to be like Bach and Beethoven, remembered for her music and her talent, she doesn't have time for love, it doesn't count for her.
