Hamlet: The Prince of Denmark


This RP is a twist on the Shakespearean Classic everyone read in one of their high school English classes. We all know the story; Prince Hamlet falls in love with Ophelia, Hamlet's mother marries his uncle (Claudius) after the mysterious death of Hamlet's father, Laertes is Ophelia's brother who would do anything to protect her and their Father Polonius is of course, the idiot. However, this play can be twisted in many different directions. You play a character of your choice and interact with others in the play until someone reveals who killed Hamlet's father, who falls in love with who and most importantly, who dies. I will play the role of Gertrude, (Hamlet's mother) as it is an easy role to play and I will be able to focus on directing the RP in the way of my choice. Here are the characters you may choose from:

-Claudius
-Polonius
-Various Servants and other roles

No character sheet is needed as I already know what all the characters are like and their personalities are set in stone. I suggest that if you are interested you do some research on your character.
