Edited mine. Her Last Resort activates automatically when she hits critical. If my character had a class, it would probably be Mage, or some kind of magic-specializing class. Only she doesn't use a wand or staff to hone it (as implied by her equipment). I'll be drawing a pic of her sooner or later.

Everyone's character looks pretty cool so far. And diverse. I love a cast of diverse characters~

Character Name: Alex Clubs
Real Name: Samuel Reeds
Real Age: 18

Class: Jester (Archetype:Mage)

Jester is played in quite an interesting way to say the least. Rather than focus on attack, defense or support, the Jester class focuses on spells of other varying purposes. Be it cheap entertainment or massive bluffs, the Jester plays in a comical fashion, and rather than using a wand or staff uses various items people never think of using for actual magic, be it a deck of playing cards or a rubber chicken. The Jester in normal terms is extremely weak, but has a much larger mana reserve and cool times than most other mages, allowing these much weaker skills to be used more in a shorter period of time.
Job: Busker - He does magic 'tricks' and plays the lute for money, with only slightly more dignity than the common beggar.

Skill List:
Active:

Passive:

Equipment List:
Deck of Playing Cards x1
Lute x1
Wooden Stake x1 (Joke Weapon by the developers that he kept, now uses in conjunction with 'Looks Can Be Deceiving')
5000gp

Yeah this character's gender is actually male but confused for female and acts feminine at times in a joking personality, even going to the length of having a gender neutral character name.

For guild name, only idea I have is 'The Necessary Evil' which sounds a little over-the-top. Or maybe 'Purgatory Wildfire'. I'm good at making names that sound too over-the-top, if anyone likes those names cool.

Character Name: Tanika Redblood
Real Name: Hannah Luffy
Real Age: 19
Appearance: Caucasian with long dark brown hair braided over her shoulder, hazel eyes behind thick eyelashes and an almond shaped face. She has a decent amount of muscle, though, not enough to weigh her down. She wears free and loose fitting clothing so as to provide for the most mobility, such as, a large low-cut tunic that reveals a tattoo of small birds along her collar bone, lightly held by a belt at her waist and a pair of fitted yet flexible capris.

Class: Runner- Quick on their feet and gone in a flash, the Runner's immediate survival instinct is always flight over fight. The Runner is ideal for a quick getaway and besides their obvious need for speed they also are attributed with keen eyesight and a fondness for long-range weapons...particularly sharp ones. But let it be known that they will hardly ever give critical damage. They rely on their abilities to prevent them from getting caught rather than taking down an enemy. Close combat situations, for Runners, nearly always prove fatal.

Job(s): Messenger/Scout

Skill List:
Active:

Passive:

Equipment List:
-6 small throwing knives
-small cotton Messenger's pouch
-pair of lightweight running shoes

Alright guys this is starting to get interesting!

Icicle the only thing is you have to have a single class title. Gunswoman, Gunslinger, Marshal, Outlaw, anything relating to the oldwest really you could use, or anything you can honestly justify. Otherwise glad we got some big range!

Heresy looks amazing, I'm glad we're getting some crazy unique classes now. I hope far later in the game we see some crazy power from the Jester. Just curious would you consider his fighting range close, mid or far?

Define absolutely love it. Perhaps for your jobs you could have courier and scout, just to save you from having three, ranger is a combat class that you wouldn't really use as a job. I also think you should switch Hermes with Sleeping Beauty, since passive abilities are something that's always active it would give you a constant never ending bonus to dodging while sleeping beauty would be a skill you activate.

I'm going to add a few more bits to the OOC and then make my character, I guess we could begin after that's done. Hopefully we'll get into the IC by late tomorrow or early the next day. Glad to see we're generating some new interest.

Edit: Also I added a few things to the original post, a system on how leveling up will work and the kingdoms we will encouter that most likely will be expanded upon. I do already have plots in the making but don't assume too much, I promise I have plot twists as well. Any questions, concerns?

He barely ever fights, but when he levels later and does have some actual battle skills he will probably be mid. I'm sleeping now, so bye everyone.

Still very Wip. Any comments on balancing? I'm still debating the spirit walking skill.

Character Name: Brombrent
Real Name: Vincent Hughes
Real Age: 24

Class: Spirit Whisperer
A spirit whisperer can commune with the spirits of nature and bind them to their will. The class focusses on buffing allies and debuffing enemies. It is a support class that does little direct damage and has low health, so most users will equip ranged weapons and leave direct combat to others. However in fights with 1 or 2 enemies, through a use of abilities they can usually hold their own. At higher levels they can also summon spirits in combat to damage or heal.

Job(s):
Enchanter – Binds spirits to items to increase stats and possibly to add special abilities.
Medicine-man – Can make basic potions to restore health/magic and cure ailments.

Skill List:
Active:

Passive:

Equipment List:

Bullwhip
Crude leather coat
Crude leather trousers.

What about quests? Will they be pre-made, or will we come up with them on our own?

For a guild name, I made a list of random things off the top of my head. If y'all see anything you like let me know.

Heresy
LostOnes
The Forgotten
Children of the Raze
Bloodwood
Hell's Fury
The Loveless
Of the Sun
Of the Moon
Molded Souls

P.S. I am intentionally trying to come up with something that is not unique, because from the few guild oriented RPs I've played it seems to be like that. Unless, the AI had already created guilds and you are perhaps, randomly assigned to one and already given a name. Perhaps after the initial setup guilds can trade players just like baseball teams trade? This would allow for a new character to come in should another die.

Quests will be created as we go really, some might be presented by other players, guilds or.normally npcs. I kinda imagine we would do things as a group but occasionally have time for people to do things on their own or something.

As for our guild name maybe we shouldn't have one so dark. I was thinking of naming it Dragon Wing, Lion's Head, Gold Lion, the Blue Moon Stallions. Something like that?

I don't have any really good ideas for Guild names. Wandering Warriors, maybe? Derp.

But all these new characters are so awesome and unique I really just wanna roleplay with all of them~
Can't wait for IC to start. This is going to be awesome. Be proud, Ike. You've made a roleplay with one of the most diverse casts of characters I've ever seen.

<b>Character Name:</b>  Lyndus the Brave
<b>Real Name:</b>  Jamie McAleenan
<b>Real Age:</b> 19
<b>Appearance:</b>  Standing at a hefty 6'4, Lyndus weighs roughly 180 pounds. Lyndus has medium length red hair, the fringe often covering his eyes leaving only small flecks of his green eyes to be seen by people he looks at. He has a muscular body with large shoulders. He wears a green shirt which has only three buttons buttoned, allowing a good portion of his chest to be revealed. Across his chest is a thick leather strap which holds his long sword. He wears a brown leather belt with his black trousers that are tucked into shin high leather boots.
He wears a pair of black woollen gloves and a necklace that reaches down to the middle of his chest. The necklace is a simple piece of string holding a small wooden cross.

<b>Class:</b>
<i>Squire</i>
A Squire is someone who has virtually based their character entirely around their defensive abilities, their ability to gather the attention of opponents and to deal heavy damage.
The pro's of being a Squire are obviously their ability to take huge amounts of damage and still go on fighting, their capability of dealing large amounts of damage and the way they can gather the attention of almost any number of enemies.
The cons are that they are close ranged fighters, rarely, if ever, wielding a long ranged weapon. Most Squire's aren't capable of using magic, which is the reason they have such high amounts of physical attributes.
<b>Job(s):</b>
Wandering Sword For Hire – his main focus
Smithy

<b>Skill List:</b>

<i><u>Active</u></i>
<i>Circular Swing</i>
Usually used when surrounded, the Squire would wait for the precise moment and swing their weapon in a circular pattern dealing considerable damage.

<i>Quake Strike</i>
The Quake Strike is the Squire's most basic technique. The character whilst wielding a heavy weapon, or a lighter one depending on their strength, would swing down upon their opponent with all their might. This technique has the ability of breaking through defences and still deal a decent amount of damage. Once the character has a high enough strength stat, this technique will be able to create a small fissure in the ground where it hit.

<i>All for one, and one for all!</i>
The All for one technique is specific to the Squire class. Once the technique is activated, everyone within the Squires' vicinity (10 feet in radius) gains a boost to these two stats: Health and Defence, including themselves.
.

<i><u>Passive</u></i>
<i>Guardian</i>
The Guardian passive effect allows the Squire to grant a 15% increase to the defence stats of anyone in their party.

<b>Equipment List:</b>
1x Long Iron Broad Sword
3x health potions – located across his chest
3x mana potions – located across his chest
1x leather curiass
5000 Gold

Hmm. Thought the codes I used to use on dA would have worked. Oh well.

As for Guild name ideas, what about 'The Huntsmen'? In my eyes, they'd be a league of Mercenaries, primarily focused with Stealth. So, really a group of Rouges.

Haha oh Jamiem I see you had a slight problem with the coding eh? Its okay when I first posted the OOC the coding was so trashy cause it gives you no ability to preview. As for your character my only concern is he might be too broad, doing high magic damage with the ability to tank puts him into two positions. He can't really be an ace of all trades since it would make his class simply stronger than the rest, he needs more weaknesses. I would suggest don't aim towards such a tanky side of your character unless you're gonna have magic based around being defensive and plan to be a tanky guy. If you wanna deal serious damage you need to take more of an off-tank role who can take more hits than some weaker classes but he could never stand up to the defense stats of a true tank. Instead he would have a decent amount of damage and a less than okay level of health which would make him a PVP-based class since he can possibly out-tank the weenier classes but more damage than tanks but not both at the same time.

Also guys I'm gonna be making my character today and try to get this all together. I think we have everything we need and more than enough people. So lets get this started already right? And Wraith thanks for the compliment mate :P

Edit: Warriors! I forgot to say something of your character. If you wanna buff him up I don't think it would be a problem. Perhaps give him an ability to do damage over time, like a spirit withering skill? Maybe his main form of power aside from buffing allies can be very weak but effective spiritual damage, which would do true damage and strike directly into the HP of the target instead of dealing with resistances and armor.

How's my character so far? It's still a little rough and I am concerned about his passive ability, but I can't think of anything better at this time.

Well I said something in the last post I dunno if you saw. I forgot to say something because I had checked it last night before bed but never said anything to you because I forgot, sorry!

But I think your character idea is awesome, it leaves lots of room for expansion but maybe your passive could do something more effective like each basic attack deals the target with an affliction something like weakening their resolve or morale which can make lesser monsters simply flee or not want to attack you while larger enemies will be more prone to take a defensive stance instead of attacking.

You've just given me an idea, thanks. Though I'm just about to get off for dinner so it'll be a short while before I can update.

Sorry, I had a disconnect with how you addressed me - band new username and all :S

No rush! :P

I added a small list of the characters which (I believe) are finished and accepted, if you are 100% finished with your character and its not up there, say something please!

Do you guys think I should add a quest section where you will see our current active quests, completed quests and what rewards we got from said quest?
