Work was his life now and the most exciting part of it for that matter. It had only been three years since her death, and he still wasn’t taking it so well. The only way to distract himself was to fight. He couldn’t take it out on the supernaturals because well, he quit the hunting to save a life. Many hunters would argue against that, but when it came to a chance of there being anyone he could care for, he didn’t want to be the reason for their death. This ideal didn’t stop him from being on edge, paranoia haunting him, so to take out this aggression, this anger, he fought. He had learned soon after being hired as one of their cage fighters that many supernaturals hung around there. It was a way for him to keep an eye on them, without killing them unless he had to.

The local gang ran the underground bar, night club. Drugs, booze, whores, strippers and blood. It was all there, how did he stumble upon this place? One drunken adventure that he didn’t remember so well. All he could remember the next morning was the fight and the cash he had made off the fight. So he went again, and again and soon dominated the fights and was soon hired by the leader himself. Luke Dune understood that he was there only for the booze and fighting, and of course the easy one night stands. Most girls that worked there he had slept with free of charge if the where the local whores. He loved it, being on edge felt right, he kept in shape and every now and again he got to use his hunting skills on a rather good fighter human, hunter or supernatural.

Kaden tonight had already been working for a good few hours. Three maybe four? He could never really tell all he knew was then they told him to go for his break he had fifteen minutes to do as he wished before he had to get his ass back in the ring. Grabbing the towel that hung on the cage he wiped down his face, trying to take away the sweat that covered him. It was always damn hot in there, the spot lights focusing on the ring in the dark club, music blasting, too many bodies packed into the space and then there was fighting. Hearing the cage door open, he glanced lazily over his shoulder when two people got in the cage. He smirked at the men. “To pussy to take me on one at a time boys?” He couldn’t help but laugh at them. Throwing his towel back onto the cage he rolled his shoulder, as the accouner rumbled off something Kaden didn’t care to listen to anymore. All he ever heard was the music and then the 3,2, 1, FIGHT! He was in the zoon, ducking under some man’s right hook before his hands touched the mats under the two of them before he spun on the back of his heel to bring the other part of his let to hit the mens legs.

The one man was on his back before Kaden stood fully up and that gave him the chance to send a nice strong kick into his rips. The man shouted out in pain before Kaden send another strong kick his way. That time the man held his side and he knew this ‘tough’ guy was done. Smirking down at the guy before looking over to the bodyguards and gave them a nodded that this one was done. The other guy had been faster on his feet. Kaden glanced over at the other guy who was watching Kaden carefully, a lust in his eyes. It looked like hunger. It charged at him an amulet, jumping out of his dirty t-shirt. Outside of the cage he could hear the roar of the many male voices that sat around the metal cage. He no longer cared about the eyes that laid on him, this thing wasn’t human. At the last second Kaden side stepped it with ease, hearing an inhuman cry in frustration as Kaden’s hand knife sliced down onto it’s back, making it stumble into the metal cage. It turned to look at Kaden with crazy eyes, the man who had been taken down before jumped on Kaden’s back. He grunted as he rolled forward to slam his body onto of the man’s body. This fucking sucked.
