The year is 2037. Technology as advanced incredibly, but is only allowed to be used by the government. War has been raging between the New Union and other countries for several years now. Millions of lives from all different countries have been lost. None of the countries intend on backing down, and rumors abount another nuclear war starting have been heard by many.
A teenage boy stands alone in an empty field as he looks up to the sky. Staring intensely at the sparkling stars, he sighs. For once, he would love for something to happen in his otherwise dull and boring life. Day by day, he follows the same routine. He's gotten sick of it! For once, he wants to do something different! He'd love to run away to another town and do something insane and unbelievable.
It's not like his little town is anything exciting. Like every other town in the New Union, there are very strict rules. Ever since the president was overthrown and the United States was thrown into a dictatorship, things have been different. This is also when the United States was changed to be called 'the New Union'. Since then, everything has taken a turn for the worse.
The boy glances up in time to see a shooting star. Closing his eyes, he makes a wish to have a life full of adventure. What happens next is something he doesn't expect. Opening his eyes, he sees whatever was shooting through the sky slam into the ground a few feet away. As earth flew through the air, he threw his arms up to cover his face for a moment.
Taking a few second, he headed towards the hole. Looking inside, he saw what seemed to be a metal capsule which held the body of a girl around his age. Surprised, he slid into the huge crater opened the capsule before checking her wrist for a pulse. He quickly retracted his hand when he found that her arm was cold and metallic. The girl opened her eyes before sitting up. She glanced at him before realizing where she was.
Deciding to take a chance with this young boy, she spoke, "Is this the New Union? I am no threat to common folk such as yourself. I'm a cyborg sent by Great Britain to bring this war to an end."

Her arm could also transform into what seemed to be a plasma gun (a rather common weapon for soldiers). This all came with a price though. Now she was indebted to the government. Her price - to be their new weapon.
