So, this is inspired kinda by @Altered Tundra's Music Shuffle thread, but also a game I've played and seen on other forums that CAN be quite fun so figured I'd give posting this a shot and see how it goes! :D
It's a relatively simple game that works as follows:
- Person puts their music player on shuffle
- They post the lyrics from the FIRST TWO LINES of the songs that play, for, let's say 5 songs (the original was done with 30 but guessing all of those might take forever and it would take forever to move the game along so let's go with 5 for now)
- Other players then have to guess the song and artist name, purely from those two lines that are posted
- When all five songs are guessed, a new set of songs is posted by a DIFFERENT person and the game starts again
- We'll say that the person who correctly guessed the last song to complete the list posts the next one, to make it fair
So, a few simple rules
- Things like (long) intros of "nah nah"s or "oh oh"s etc. (anything along those lines) don't count as 'lines' (because it would be impossible to guess exactly WHICH song they came from obviously haha), post the first two actual lines after them ;)
- For the same reason as the above rule, instrumental songs can't count for this game as they don't have lyrics. If you get an instrumental song on your shuffle, skip until you get a song that has lyrics :D
- You MAY NOT type the lyrics into Google (Or any other search engine!) to look them up. This is cheating and spoils the point of the game. Don't be a cheater. Nobody likes cheaters.
- There is no limit to how many songs you can guess. You can guess all five in one go if you like/think you know them!
- No limit to how many times you can guess again if you get an answer wrong, keep trying if you don't get it right away!
- If it has been 5 days since the last correct guess and there are still songs people haven't guessed correctly yet, the person who posted the list has to post the answers, and the last person to correctly guess a song on the previous list posts a new one, to keep the game moving onward!
- Be nice to people and all that stuff. Don't be a horrible person in general, don't make fun of people's music tastes for being different to yours, don't be a sore loser if somebody guesses before you yadda yadda yadda ;)
- HAVE FUN!

2. In the middle of the night I was sleeping sitting up, when the doctor came to tell me "enough is enough".
3. I'll seek you out, flay you alive; one more word and you won't survive.
4. I don't like walking around this old and empty house, so hold my hand I'll walk with you my dear.
5. I am a lion and I want to be free, do you see a lion when you look inside of me?
aaaaandd GO! :P
