A brief overview of what I have in mind.
I've been looking to start up a fast-paced Megaman-based RP for quite some time, seeing as how there are literally no Megaman active Rps atm. The idea of roleplaying my literal favorite franchise entertains me to no end, but before I go about writing up a synopsis or anything like that, I'm curious to see who'd be interested in the concept as it is.
Or rather, the two concepts I had in mind.
Essentially, I had the idea that the players involved would participated in a retelling of the classic X series games (In sequence, if possible) with X, Zero, and possibly a third protagonist to spice things up slightly, using the original level designs, and boss roster, to keep things simple, while getting a chance to play through the game with the added twist of it being... Well, a roleplay. In this scenario, I'd be looking for 2-3 more players, dedicated to the idea, and willing to put new spins on the original series by adding a more cohesive plot line, using lore from future games to foreshadow and add new ideas, like foreshadowing the existence of wheel gator in MMX1, or having a brief appearance from Dynamo. The final product would ideally create an entirely brand new story that fits the basic plot structure of the original game(s). It's a simple idea, but worth exploring.
Alternatively, I would be willing to come up with an entirely different scenario that either incorporates the characters in the X series, or branches off as its own alternate universe. This of course, would require more work, and I'd probably spend a lot more time thinking out a proper setting and roster.
Is anyone interested, per chance? I'm planning this to be a small group of 3-5 people, at any rate, if enough interest is found.
