Hey there! since my last rp just closed, I thought I might as well shoot this new idea I've been interested in to the forums~

So, I have a version of this in my 1x1 check post (well, two different types, in fact), but the gist is: fantasy and/or post-apocalyptic world, think the deserts of mad max or overgrown abandoned cities. the ways this can go are numerous, so let me try to break them down...

post-apocalyptic: taken from a 1x1 that never took off. modern setting mixed with exploration, nature vs. civilization, worldwide collapse of technology forcing people to revert back to survival methods and driving around in jeeps lookin' for life. etc. very slow paced with emphasis on just... building the world. finding meaning? whatever you want??? think road trip, but also apocalypse.

fantasy exploration: split into even more ideas! check here, last hider. if you're lazy and you don't wanna do that, lemme summarize? basically, a small group of people travelling/exploring the setting of choice (cave, ocean, ruins, etc etc CHECK THE HIDER), maybe looking for treasure or a person or whatever. I have a few different "endless worlds" for this one -- ocean world, ancient ruins, cloudsea, cave complex, and space. maybe tell me which one you like best?

or, y'know, other suggestions are welcome too. :)

here's my interest check if you're lazy

"The main gist of this is exploration and the fantastical things that come along with it. I have at least five settings for this, so here we go:

1: Endless ocean. Think houses on stilts, underwater temples, islands and even huge boat colonies, all crossing the endless seas. And whales, because I like whales. Wait, maybe colonies of people on whales?

2: Spelunking--as in, a giant cave! This one brings back memories of my childhood spent playing minecraft--spending days and days underground, getting hopelessly lost and having to dig yourself out, finding diamonds... You get the idea. Underground cities are cool too, hint hint.

3: Clouds...? Air? Sky? Whatever. This would benefit from more details in the setting, i.e. magic or no magic, but the basics are the same. No touching the ground, for whatever reason. Airships! Lots of birds! Floating islands?

4: Ruins. Like Indiana Jones. Probably a bit more plot and mystery, with the opportunity to build a whole ancient civilization and all. A concrete ending would even be nice. What will they find?

5: SPAAAACE. Though, I'm not the biggest sci-fi geek, so it might be easier to pick one of the ones above. Still--exploring planets? Yes. Neat spaceships? Definitely. Space whales? I sure hope so."
