Sirens.

Mythical creatures said to lure sailors to their watery grave with their beauty and enthralling song.

The same name was given to the beings that suddenly and viciously assaulted humanity from the sea. If it had not been for the discovery of the wisdom cubes and their unexpected development into powerful ship-girls, the world as we know it would have ceased to exist. What made us decide to call them sirens in the first place? Was it the same reason that cause the Iron Blood and Sakura Empire to break from the Azur Lane Alliance? Did sweet words and promises steer them away from their course like those ancient sailors? After so many countless battles, it is hard to know the truth behind any of it. What is known is that the Sirens are a threat to us all, and Humanity shall never be safe so long as they roam the seas.

It was the founding of the Azur Lane Alliance that sought to accomplish just that. Freedom from the Sirens' tyranny. However, with the Iron Blood and Sakura Empire breaking away to form the Crimson Axis, it has only gotten harder. The hope of the world rests solely in the hands of those in Azur Lane, the ship-girls and commanders that continue to fight for a world free of the sinister sirens. Now more than ever more ship-girls are needed and that is why the Admiralty has deemed to create a new fleet of newly constructed warships. Established as the 7th Expeditionary Fleet, it is now ready to begin its first training exercises under the leadership of the newly graduated Commander Atsukaze. The newly minted fleet will soon find themselves thrust into the heat of combat far sooner than anticipated.

Character Creation

All characters will be ship-girls based off a real-world WW2 counterpart. You may choose in-game characters if you wish but it is preferred if you choose one that is not represented. Above is a list of ships that you may not base your character on for story purposes. Appearances do not need to match what is in Azur Lane itself. History will not be included in the CS as everyone's characters will be newly constructed. The character sheet is as follows:

Name of Ship: (Country Abbreviation + Name)
Ship Class: (Destroyer, Cruiser, Battleship, etc.)
Personality: (Can also be how they are perceived by others if you wish to disguise certain traits)
Weaponry: (Main Guns, Torpedoes, and Anti-Air guns)
Extra: (Whatever else you wish to include)

Thank you all for coming to check out my Azur Lane interest check. I have been wanting to make this kind of RP for quite some time and have finally decided to test the waters. This is work-in-progress that is going to be put up against another concept of mine that will be being posted in the interest check a few days after this one. This RP will focus more on action but there will be periods during the story where more slice-of-life can happen.
