The IC is up - I may edit it further, but I didn't want it to get too long.

For your first posts, at least post your character arriving on the island somewhere. Whether you run into the NWA or Bryan or not is up to you, as is how you get there. However, the main jist will be for us all to meet up, and secure some way to get off of the island with the NWA in hot pursuit - even if it's just crossing from Buka island to the main body of Bougainville, to reach a harbour or airstrip in order to keep the detonators off of them.

As we go along, more of their plan will be uncovered, but they'll be hounding us the whole way, which is the main point.

Yes, that's more-or-less what's going on. There'll be more revelations about them once we all get together and get a bit further down the proverbial road. I'll make another post this evening to keep things rolling, since virtually everyone's put a post up, and we know that Rafale is away for a short while, and Rultaos is a bit busy. The good thing about this kind of setting though, is that it's easy to insert new characters.

Right, done a short post getting Bryan introduced to someone else. I'll follow it up with a longer one getting everyone else involved tomorrow, but right now I'm tired and I need to go to sleep, as I have got myself a job that starts tomorrow, woo!

Holy crap Blackwolf, you managed to suck your own character's dick and, for dick sucking purposes, change the time to evening/night so he can go all super commando on forgettable NWA soldiers that have the self preservation skills that of stormtroopers! All of this done, of course, with no real plot advancement whatsoever!

haha most post have been non plot progressing for the most part at this point. Besides just having him treck through the woods for hours on end would be boring XD...so i figured fuck it xD lets get rambo up in this bitch. And he wouldn't reach ya'll until night fall anyways so this is just pretty much what is going on with him as your characters are doing whatever.

That was more than a little bit self-indulgent.
Okay guys, the rest of us can just set up camp in the forest and live out the rest of the war in peace while Blackwolf kills the NWA and rebuilds civilization. Give us a call when you're done, dude. We'll put the kettle on and have tea and medals ready.

Having him have more trouble engaging an entire island full of soldiers would've been more interesting. Or having him actually have some internal monologue about where he's been, what he's done, or some kind of emotion other than 'kill a bunch of guys' would've less boring than 'kill a bunch of guys' though.
Also, this island is tiny - take a look at the maps in the OP on this thread.
And if our 'characters are doing whatever' (or roleplaying as it's commonly known) surely it's better to have your character bump into them 'doing whatever' than have him murder his way around the jungle on his own?

If I may make a suggestion, can have my character give her little questionnaire, then Bryan answer it, then Bryan and eventually Alika respond to the arrival of Mr. Spec Ops Korean dude? Just to help simplify things and get things all tangled up.

Yeah, that sounds like it would be the best way for things to flow, and the most straightforward as well.
I figured as the time went, Bryan woke up and had a short conversation with your character, and then Rafales' character turned up and we both react to his arrival
