[IC] The Beats End with Despair

[Naegitime]

Myke, M, Alyx, Bea, Neku, Joshua, Naegi, and Komaeda find themselves trapped in a mall with Monokuma.

Chaos ensues.

"Well, not what I thought when I came here looking for new brands to add to Shibuya's ever-changing pool. It'll do I suppose." Joshua mused as the nine walked around the empty mall, Neku taking in the situation with a groan, moving to M and sheilding the tiny human with his own body, instinctively fitting into his role.

"Kinda creepy, having no people here. You think this place is connected to the UG?"

"It's connected to something." Komaeda said, brushing his hair from his face and clutching his stomach for a second before shivering "Despair lingers here. This wasn't a hopeful place before it got made into this ghastly state. Now, It's a black hole!"

"I feel it too...the opression. Something isn't right." Makoto agreed, rubbing his arms as he felt a chill "But let's not fret ok? We'll be ok as long as we work together!"

Neku turned to the other small human and invited him over. The vampire did not like him getting so close, so he lifted his hands in surrender ""Optomistic, arten't you? Say...pink hair, what's your deal? You know we have to work together, right?"

[Myke]

The vampire's eyes narrowed at the human as he tried to bring Myke closer to him. Alyx put an arm around their boyfriend, keeping him close. Until they knew the surrounding strangers, besides M, they weren't going to take any chances. "Working together is one thing, betrayal can happen, and I'm not about to let you harm Myke. That goes for M too."

M looked out from behind the orange-haired male that took to guarding him, a slight frown formed on his face. He could handle himself if he needed to. Besides, he knew most of the people here, thankfully. "We should figure out what's going on here," he said. "Figure out why we're all in this mall."

Bea looked around the unknown place that he found himself in, along with the other eight people. He didn't know what was going on, or why they were here, but he didn't like it. There was a bad feeling in the pit of his stomach, causing him to tighten his grip on his hat. "Whatever this place is, I don't like it..."

[Naegitime]

"Couldn't agree more. Something is definitely forboding here. The Music is distorted...dying. As if death itself is performing it. Neku dear, I believe the boy can take care of himself. I need you to scan the area for Noise."

Neku frowned as he reluctantly left M's side, looking at the teen worridly before processing what had just been said. "Wait what? This isn't the UG. How can there be Noise?"

"Have I taught you so little, my dear Proxy? Every plane has a similer plane to the UG, in whatever alternate universe you happen to hop to. Luckily for us, we hopped to a similar universe to our own, and thus, the Noise Plane exists in it as well. Now, Dear, scan the area if you please."

As Neku sighed and opened up his senses, Naegi, thouroughly confused, opted to focus on what he could understand. What he understood was that there were teenagers here who also had not a single clue what the hell was going on, and one of those teens reminded him of Genecide Jack. Not nearly as crazy, but the blood lust was there, he could feel iot on an instinctual level. Still, he was determined to be upbeat and give these people some shred of hope.

"Hey...I understand. You want to protect your friends. Well, ok! Let's introduce ourselves. My name is Makoto Naegi, Nice to meet you." He held out a hand to Alyx, smiling brightly.

[Myke]

"This places reminds me of Melon's mansion," M muttered under his breath. "Not a place I like at all."

Myke gave him a light, reassuring pat on the back at the comment. He had never met the monster that the pink-haired teenager spoke of, but if they were anything like Pumpkin Demon, not someone he ever wanted to come across. Bea could relate to the comment. This unknown place felt like one of Torment's place they'd bring him to torment him before releasing him to continue the hunt another day.

Alyx narrowed their eyes at the human for a moment, and only accepted his hand when their boyfriend gently nudged them. "Alyx."

"I'm... Myke Rafon," Myke spoke up next, cringing at his pun name he was cursed with.

"Same name as him," M added. "Just call me M."

"I'm Bea."
