@ Shin: I tried the Wayback Machine, and I couldn't get it to load more than the first 3 or 4 pages of whichever threads I visited. If you plug in the specific URL does it bring up the page? (This would be a miracle for me, seriously.)

@ Tigre: Yes, Leeloo is adorable. But my avatar is quickie junk, and I'm kind of a graphics snob. I think I'm gonna make something new tonight. (Maybe lol.) And sorry about your creativity issues. Have you ever done character exercises? They usually help me. Try Fuck Yeah Character Development. Also, I'd intended for Dante's tour of the Institute to continue, and for Greg to come retrieve him. (Tony will be coming to fetch Simone.) They'll continue being shown around the Institute. If you'd like me to write a paragraph or two of Greg's actions to get you rolling, I'm happy to oblige!

@ Thread In General: I'm still being quieter than I should be, but it's tough for me to find time on weeknights. I get up so early that I start getting sleepy at 9 these days. (I had lots of coffee today though, so I'm up late lol!) Tomorrow is a writing day, and it's not time for me to post again yet, so I think I'm going to try a Twisted Tale. Pum, Kally, Vampiric and Shin all know what this is. They're short(ish) stories from your character's backstory. Helps get over blocks, also great for character development. Buck and Cadie both have some pretty rich moments just waiting to be elaborated upon. I wonder who I'll pick first. Eenie...meenie...

Now, back to the Maidencave! Huzzah!

@ Shin: The posts I'm interested in were towards the end of the Kidney arc, and the final versions of Buck and Remy's character sheets. I wouldn't turn down a copy of the first ten pages, though: it's more than what I've got access to right now!

@ Elsa: Take care of your school stuff first, and post when you can. It doesn't appear that anyone around here is in any hurry. Thanks for checking in and letting us know what's going on!

I didn't get anything written or make any graphics today... we had a lame horse (Opal) and a minor trailer incident (It fell off the block after Mom set it down, thankfully it landed on the weight distribution hitch and not her bumper or her foot!!) so most of my day got eaten up by that. I'm sore and tired, but I feel like a boss for handling bidness. Good news is that tomorrow my Ebil Sister is borrowing the truck to move furniture, so we can't tow anything anywhere. Writing tomorrow. Now... sleep. :)

@Maiden: Oh? I didn't think you were still accepting! I'll consider it, but I'm not sure if I'm up to Advanced Roleplay standards. As for the files, I'll get them all put together in about...six hours, after I get off work.

@ Shin: Well, I can't see a good reason to deny a Twisted Alum when I pretty much gave a free pass to the others, although technically we're full. You're certainly welcome to just lurk around the OOC instead though, if that's what you prefer. I also see no reason why you wouldn't be up to Advanced's standards... you kept up just fine in the previous Twisted.

@ Syblyx: I know you're waiting on Oblivion to post, if she doesn't do so soon I'll send Cadie your way.

@Maiden: E-mail has been sent. Anyway, your words of encouragement are not lost on me. I will...think about this. My previous characters didn't feel quite as crazy as their fellows, so that's certainly something I must consider.

You know, I harp on being playably crazy for a reason. I'm amazed that nobody's ever picked Tourette's Syndrome (Even though it's technically neuropsychiatric, I'd allow it!) or OCD, paired with something like Generalized Anxiety or Bipolar Disorder. (Intermittent Explosive Disorder would be a good one, too!) I love Cadie's Conversion Disorder for that reason: it can cause her to go blind, have seizures, give her phantom pains, all sorts of weird stuff in reaction to stresses. Though it's not fun for Cadie, it's totally fun for me to play. Her Impulse Control Disorder is the one that's scary: in real life, people who suffer from it often attack others physically or verbally, or do really inappropriate things. Since hers is tied directly to her telekinetic Mutant powers, she attacks with that instead sometimes. So she's very much sick without losing the ability to interact. Same way with Remy's PTSD and Dissociative Fugues/Amnesia. So it's not about how crazy you can be: it's about how crazy you can be and still have a fairly solid concept of reality.

Just my two cents. Why can I not write anything without rambling?! Anyway, it's past bedtime, as usual. XD Night!

Though I may need to check with a few people on how I want Dante to react to them and maybe start a small collab to get through some dialogue :D BUT ALAS!! With a stern jab to the beasts side with the heel of his boot it's heavy hooves tore into the dirt as they soared across the many planes.
