1800s NRP?

So I was wondering if anyone would be interested in an NRP set in the 1800s (I was thinking the start date would be around 1830 but this can be changed).
While I do want this to be RP led, I'd like to have some structure and deciding factors other than just IC posts (though that will be a major element). I can go into more details on how this will work, just ask away and I'll explain.

To have fun? To survive?
It's an NRP where alt history will arise, I expect that each individual nation will have it's own goals decided by the player

It sounds like a fun idea. I hop on if it was posted.
And yeah in NRPs the goal is usually what is set by the players, whether it to be to cause anarchy everywhere and spread your nations cult, or become a world superpower.
