The day had come that Yukan had gone on a trip to look at the Yakata and land which he had received for reaching the status of Samurai Lord in the Koyake Clan in the Nara no Nox Shogunate. For his distinguished accomplishments on the battlefield and assisting his fellow beasts in the Republic of Kuridan. He was finally acknowledged.

It was a good day indeed but one with some anxiety beneath his serious visage. He knew full well that it was one he was receiving because the past lord was no longer with them and had no family to pass it onto, but Yukan knew that this mean there were sandals which he needed to possibly fill, unsure of how well the past lord did with the peasants who were under him, but Yukan fully intended to work to the best of his ability to make It so that his reputation was stellar.

Hopefully he’d be able to get some of his allies to get involved as well. He couldn’t make any drastic obvious moves being overseen by the Daimyo, but it would be a good platform to further serve the public and boost his career to help with the goals he was aspiring too.

Though it seemed that some had been interested in coming and or meeting Yukan. One of a noble house from the West Empire. It would not be bad to have a positive connection there. And also a most interesting brawler. With martial prowess being featured prominently in Kuridan culture if they became a great or one who was even just willing to stick around and fight, that could be a good thing Yukan figured, not to mention he didn’t exactly have many proper friends at the moment and for someone of his status he really needed more connections anyway.

He arrived via carriage just outside of the estate entrance. It had a wooden bridge which went across a moat, fortified walls making it difficult to scale the wall or get past the moat. Though just from the outside it was clear that it had seen better days, the moat was practically dry, the walls somewhat worn from the elements, even the bridge itself looked like it could use an update, but it still stayed functional, as did the gate to the inside.

The Tanuki man himself was wearing a simple but nice quality Green Doboku, as well as Hakama pants, with sandals. He would decidedly check out the farmers area on his land a bit later, the plan being to meet up with interested parties at the entrance so for now he’d pretty well wait. Of course he had already had some preparations made ahead of time to be a good host.
