Yes, wouldn't it be crazy if we used the sport of curling from the winter Olympics as a high school competitive sport? We might be from some cold, English speaking Norway-esque island nation that's big into curling. Certain talented individuals have special abilities that are borderline supernatural in order to add more flavor and dramatic "battles" to the game. For example, some can throw stones that can suddenly do dramatic curls, some can throw stones that tend to bulldoze through everything, some seem to stubbornly stay in place no matter what attacks are sent their way, etc. Some might even simply be able to freak out their opponents or make them unlucky. We will be an underdog curling team due to the best curlers getting scholarships to other high schools and tending to congregate in those elite high schools. We'll have to come together as a team to overcome them in a tournament (and then...to the Olympics after a time skip?!), experiencing a slice of life while not curling as we get to know each other better and get some character development going.

While the Olympic sport is separated by gender, the high school competitions will allow both genders on the same team so we can all be together in the same team of 4. If we end up with more players we can form a girl team and a boy team at that point for gender separated competitions

Anyone interested? We for sure need 4 of us to begin and possibly a coach, although he/she can be made an NPC if we have no takers. If we get more then 4 then we'd need to go up to 8 so we can have two full teams.
