There is a God. There is a Devil. There is a Zeus, an Odin, a Ra, a Daghda and many others. Unfortunately for Zeus, Odin, Ra and the others, they are now in Hell. It was all God's idea. Two thousand years ago God presented the Pagan gods with an idea. They join him as high ranking angels with special privileges over most other angels in Heaven. It wasn't a command, or a threat, it just, well a suggestion. More like, advice, really. You see, Satan also known as Lucifer is quite the powerful and crafty foe. Mercury (Otherwise known as Hermes), Heimdall, and many other deities were fooled by Satan into spreading confusion with false rumors, unknowingly lying to their entire Pantheons about this new God, whom they confused for the Gnostic Demiurge. Sophia, a Gnostic deity of Wisdom came from the Heavens to warn the Pantheon, that Satan was lying against the gods, to bring them under the Judgement of God.

Sophia and Lucifer argued with one another in a great debate among the gods. In the end, Satan had convinced the other gods that God was attempting to enslave them and bring them under bondage as a tyrannical dictator. The gods assaulted Heaven, and the Arch Angel Michael, and Gabriel led an army against the invasion. The Pagan gods were not slain, they were put in Hell.

Rather than being under eternal suffering, God knew they would establish a rebellion in Hell and attempt to over throw Lucifer. The gods who were not thrown into Hell are rare. Even the Pyschopomps such as Mercury and others only have the ability to move freely between Realms of the Hells at the moment. The gods have barely established one of the great Prisons in Hell as their own. This Prison is a Penal Colony, a large island, surrounded by a sea of fire.

The heads of the Pantheons, such as Zeus, Odin, Ra and others lead a High Council, and hope to lead an invasion force, somehow, against Satan/Lucifer, and destroy him.
