Up for an open fantasy RP?

One on One RPs: Looking for an RP partner that's interested in long term RP's, and is pro taking things as they come and setting an initial event and characters, and then just letting things happen as they will. I find planning an RP from start to finish with a set plot tends to limit creativity. Granted setting up generic world rules and populus perception is a must, but strict background isn't really necessary.

I personally only RP men, and have a preference towards MxM, not for any particular reason, but I don't have a problem RPing with girl OCs. I tend to write longer posts, but I don't care about post size, it's content that matters, and having fun. Forewarning, I tend to avoid sci-fi and steampunk because I'm not to familiar with it, but Skyrim-esque fantasy and modern-fantasy I'm very comfortable with. I'm not anti vampires, or werewolves, or humans, just pro nice solid characters.

I prefer skype, because the last few times I've tried to email RP I broke gmail and kept losing posts, and whenever I try to PM RP I get very lost.

All I ask is for a partner that speaks English, would be willing to brainstorm, and isn't against a bit of conversation. I'm down to one partner plus a sporadic responder, so you'd basically have my undivided attention.

Some ideas I've greatly enjoyed in the past, not necessarily anything you'd have to do, but it might spark interest:

Familiars (Similar to a Supernatural take on them. IE shifters with an instinctual knowledge base bonded with a partner)
FamiliarxWizard (I use wizard broadly. Basically anyone that can use magic.)
VampirexVampire (Not talkin Twilight here, more like enhanced humans that feed on life force )
Succubus (When a succubus repeatedly feeds from one person, that person gets addicted. A succubus can't feed from another of its kind.)
Hellion (A species I've been using; Winged, animalistic, pack based, violent, primitive; very Amazonian)
Werewolves (I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for them.)
Dragon shifters (Dragon form and a human/mostly human form. Fun to play with the stereotypes, but give it misunderstood reasons.)

An ambassador for one species gets arrested, or put into a tough position in a foreigners country.
A dragon catches another species in its territory and decides to keep them.
Two roommates at a school to learn magic and swordplay

I'd love to hear from people and their ideas. I've been craving another good RP, something to keep going while I work on my thesis.

I won't mind doing a 1x1 roleplay with you. Plus I have Skype.

=) I am actually looking for a permanent partner who likes brainstorming. My old partners are now busy with their own lives and don't seem very invested in RPs anymore. These are some of the things I am looking for in a partner:

1) I am from Australia. Meeting up is near impossible save during weekends.
2) Being a girl, I do like some romance, but it isn't really my thing. I prefer gaming, blood and guts. If you want romance you will just have to convince me. Most romances I have seen in RPs are like a scene from some random porno. <.<
3) I hope to find a partner that will help me improve when it comes to writing action.
4) I can do fandom but it depends on the fandom. I prefer original OCs or completely AU when it comes to fandom.
5) Our rp will be high up on my priority list but it won't be my first priority. =P That is reserved for two of the rps I am participating in.
6) I am trying to break out of my gender role preference. I used to rp more as females but now I am gradually learning to be more flexible.

I've been looking for a new group/partner to do some brainstroming for rps. Im fairly good with any sort of theme as long as it isn't too mature. I love fantasy type rps the best, but I lean towards a more victorian era than modern rps. I do romance, but I perfer other things to it. I should be online fairly often and even if Im not on, if you send me something I'll get back to it as soon as possible. I perfer playing females, but I will play males as well. The issue I might have is that we might have different time zones. I'm in an eastern time zone, so if yours isn't too far off from that then it would be good. I like playing supernatural more than human, but Im pretty open with characters and plots.
