"Not only has he been a great help right here at my lab, trainer Kjolmar has now also agreed to travel all over Kalos in order to aid my research regarding mega evolution." Kjolmar waited by Sycamore's side until it was his turn to speak. Alexa turned the camera to him. "Kjolmar, do you realize you will have to battle other trainers out there? It is far from the safe work at the lab. Has Professor Sycamore given you a starter pokémon to protect you?"
Kjolmar unbuckled his belt, revealing four pokéballs. "Not only has Augustine, I mean Professor Sycamore, given me a starter pokémon. I have also caught three more pokémon already ànd I have even earned myself the Bug Badge. That's right Alexa, I have beaten your little sister Viola in a gym battle." The journalist seemed surprised and proud at the same time. He was clearly not stunned by her hard questions. "Do you think one of your captured pokémon can mega evolve? After all, that is the purpose behind your journey, is it not?" Kjolmar didn't seem to doubt a single second about his answer. "Well, Alexa, as far as I know they can not mega evolve. Or not yet. We don't know that much about the procedure yet but that is indeed what I am going to find out. My journey has only just begun." Alexa turned the camera off. "Thank you for the interview. As Kjolmar said his goodbyes to Sycamore and Alexa and left the lab, he walked towards a man with Gogoat. "A single ride to route 5, please." The man nodded and prepared a Gogoat for transport. "That will be 200, please." Kjolmar mumbled something under his breath about being expensive but he payed the man nevertheless and got on the Gogoat, which started bringing him to the southwest city exit.
