X new Gundams were created hidden from the world, no one knew of their existence until now. After years of study the Gundam programme was re-launched, it seemed Gundams could now use elements to aid them in battle. Each with its own abilities, EX-101-Pyro can with stand all intensities of heat and so no damage can happen when re-entering and leaving the Earth. It also means fire based weapons do nothing. It can also use fire to attack its enemies via its use of its flamethrower. EX-106-Ebony can use the darkness to its advantage and can turn invisible and can create darkness to use for its offense for when the Gundams gun runs out or sword is no more. These are just examples of the powers of the Element Gundams.
When the Gundams were completed all involved were killed to keep it a secret, from there things went out of control and with another war about to break out the need of the Element Gundams are needed. Eight children had found the secret access tunnel that lead to the Gundams but they did not see what was in store for them as they each climbed in and took to the skies to defend the land above them. It was natural to all of them and after forcing the enemy to retreat the child found themselves in a difficult position. Become a pilot or die at the hands of your capture's, then pick your route and see if you survive or see if you die. So at the start you are together then you drift apart and so a four on four thing happens.
Since this is a big RP there are two sides to pick, I want four on each side. So here are your choices:

The idea is a bit of a mess, I had altered it a bit as the original idea was Gundam Spirit where the pilot would control the Gundam and a Spirit would power the thing and give it the defence and offense based on the spirit itself but numbers were involved so they were removed. Example of this is:
