Maxine awoke on Monday morning with an unshakable aura of depression hovering around her. Usually, in the past, she'd pop a few pills to numb the pain. Perhaps drink a couple bottles as well, the combination rendering her incapable of experiencing emotions. However, now with a career that she thoroughly loves and enjoys, Maxine can't continue such reckless behavior. She wakes up, slowly walks to the bathroom and submerges herself in a freshly drawn bath to sooth away the depression. It doesn't completely work, but it allows Maxine a brief moment of relaxation.

After dressing in the bedroom, Maxine stops by her mirror and catches the reflection staring back. It's not the woman she remembers from childhood, but at least she's not still covered in dirt and grime, homeless with no options. Maxine bundled her dampened hair into a low ponytail that sits at the base of her neck, not bothering to brush it out or style it in anyway. She then grabs her signature grey beanie and places it atop her head. This beanie is her trademark, she wears it all the time.

Maxine doesn't need to wear eyeliner, gifted with naturally thick and dark eyelashes. The darkening shadows surrounding her eyes from lack of sleep replace any requirement for makeup quite easily. She's no longer haunted by acne and instead has smooth, flawless skin thanks to her morning and nightly routines. Beauty School gave her various useful tricks to keeping up her appearance. Maxine stops by the kitchen, brewing herself a nice cuppa of Peppermint Hot Chocolate and topping it with whipped cream. She licks her lips greedily, the remnants of the fluffy substance clinging to them.

Realizing she's forgotten her jewelry, Maxine quickly retraces her steps to the bathroom and grabs two white-gold items from the counter. The first was also the smallest, a tiny ring that she attached to the right side of her nose. The other, a simple stud, was placed underneath the fold of her lower lip. Maxine actually has far more piercings, but these are the ones she always seems to wear. Dabbing her lips with just a touch of lip balm, watermelon flavored, she headed out to the set where she'd find Robert. Today they began filming for another of his movies and she's his preferred makeup artist. So, she obediently goes to where she's needed.

Along the ride to the set, Maxine stopped by and snagged Robert's favorite coffee and some morning treats. He usually gets hungry while filming and Maxine doesn't mind using some of her payment to keep him happy. When she arrived on set, Maxine ignored everyone else and headed directly for Robert's trailer. Gently kicking at the door with her black and white converse, she waited with both hands holding drinks and a paper bag held clenched between her teeth.

Leaving behind his children was the most difficult result of the divorce from his former wife. Although it was his decision to separate and end their marriage, David never expected being apart from his kids to be so challenging. He often spends nights alone now, where before he'd be laughing or having adventures with his little girl and stepson. David doesn't really miss Georgia. Cruel as that may sound, considering she's the mother of his child, David only thinks of her as a friend. The love he had for Georgia was sincere and it lasted for many years, but eventually withered away.

Sometimes, despite being compatible, romances just don't survive. Georgia was kind and understanding when approached by David for a divorce. She didn't explode in a state of fury or cause a massive scene at the court house. David was impressed by her casual and civil behavior during the entire process. They agreed to remain in contact, for the sake of their children. Not to mention, David doesn't mind having occasional outgoings with Georgia tagging along. She was his wife, he does still care for her. Although, now he has feelings that are strictly platonic.

Today was another day of filming for his latest movie. Having retired from his most famous role with Doctor Who, David has since been searching for roles that allow him to expand on his acting abilities. He prefers to work on stage, in the theater, but currently there's nothing happening. David awoke feeling rather terrible, a minor tickle had settled in his throat and he tried a long session in the steaming hot shower to try and repair him. While it opened his nose and allowed him to breathe more easily, the tickle remained and by the time he ate breakfast at a lovely little cafe, his throat had suddenly gone extremely dry and was beginning to ache.

"Are you alright, David?"

Billie, David's company for the morning and former co-star on Doctor Who, inquired. Concerned for her friend, Billie offered him a few throat lozenges and was willing to take him back to his hotel.

David just smiled, accepting the lozenges and waved off Billie's offer to take him back.

"I have filming today, Bills." He couldn't be so rude and make everyone wait on him just for being sick. "I'll be alright."

David and Billie parted ways after breakfast, each going about their business. While Billie went back to her home, to spend time with her husband and their children, David headed off towards the set. There he immediately went to his trailer and poured another glass of hot tea to sooth his aching throat.
