[IC] Legacy (XxLyraxX and Xion)

It's been a year since he got into this place by accident, he tried to find his way out but once that light over the main tower went out he knew he couldn't get back. Cody looked over at it sometimes, the rogues had taken the city and he and the others were forced back, out into the rocks they had made there base there. He looked over his shoulder at the people crowded around the table with a sigh he went to join them he hadn't been back to his house in a year he knew his mother were worried about him and his brothers too.

Lydia stared up at the broken down arcade. It took her a year of searching and digging but finally she was here. The last place Cody had been seen. When he had disappeared a year ago, Lydia became worried and refused to give up until she found him. She refused to believe the police's brush off that he wasn't coming back. The girl took a deep breath and walked inside the arcade, looking around at the dusty and sheet covered games. She noticed that one game seemed to be moved slightly. She took a deep breath and heaved. Finally, after a struggle, the game reluctantly slid back and Lydia stepped inside the opening, shining around the flashlight she had brought with her. She walked over to a console, curiously pressing a button. There was a whirring behind her but before she managed to whirl around there was a bright light and everything went black.

Cody looked at the others shaking his head, "I'll go into town keep my head low see what I can learn no arguing we need to know about those forces or we might as well be fighting blind." The others didn't like the idea, but agreed Cody grabbed his cycle riding toward town. He looked up at the sky, that was odd the portal was open again someone must have came in to open it up again.

Lydia blinked her eyes open. She was laying on the floor of the arcade. She sat up, holding her pounding head. She stumbled to her feet and looked around before letting out a sigh. Cody obviously wasn't here. She figured she better head home and figure out a plan B. She exited out of the arcade and froze, staring around with wide eyes at a world that wasn't hers. Where....in the world was she?

Cody got off his cycle a few blocks down from the arcade, he put his helmet on the rogues could call him whatever they wanted. His voice changed into a much deeper one then his normal one. He looked around the corner to the arcade, his eyes widened how in the world did Lydia get in here he just had to make sure none of the rogues found her or this would end badly. "Hey you get over here," it was still kind and gentle "you don't want the rogues finding you or this could end badly come we need to move now."

Lydia whirled around at the sound of the deep voice and saw a figure standing there in a suit and helmet. The girl took a few steps back, eyes turning fearful. "W-Who are y-you?" She asked in a small voice, taking a few more steps back. No way was she going over there, was he crazy?!

Cody was taking a chance by doing this still he had to in order to get her to move, "Lydia come on we don't have much time there moving in on this location we have to be long gone before there here if were not well I don't want to think about that." He heard the buzz of airships coming there way, "Lydia we have to leave now."

Lydia felt her eyes widen further and she stumbled in shock. "H-How d-do you know my name?" She asked in a meek voice. "C-Cody?" She asked, wondering if she had hit her head when she fainted in the arcade and now she was having some kind of strange dream.

He looked at her, the airships were getting closer, "yah Lydia it's me no matter how much you want this to be a dream it's not I've already tried come on we need to move or we'll be caught. We need to move now," well it wasn't a secret anymore so he took the helmet off and looked at her. "Come on we need to move now or this will end really badly Lydia."

Lydia stumbled towards him, feeling really confused and lost. "Cody..what's...what's going on? W-Where..What is this place?" She stammered, her head spinning as her brain struggled to understand what was all happening.

Cody grabbed her hand pulling her along, getting back to his cycle and getting both of them on. Riding through the streets as fast as it could take them. "This is tron my adopted father made the game, but it became more than that later on he slowly made the real version of tron this is the real tron, he waved his hand around them. "A year ago there was a revolt tried to get to the portal to get out, but well it closed on me I wa stuck here now you got that portal reopened. I'll tell you more once were safe." He went over the boundary of the city hitting the rocky terrain as they made there way back to base.

Lydia held onto Cody tightly, eyes wide as she listened to what he told her. A....game..? How was that possible? They're in a...game? Lydia was positive that she was dreaming by this point and decided that she might as well go along with the dream seeing as she figured she wasn't going to wake up any time soon.

Cody drove through the terrain like he'd done it all his life, his left shoulder had white light coming off of it. Otherwise the rest of him couldn't be seen, "Lydia I know it may not seem possible I know I've tried to get used to this for the past year, but it's real all of it in the office you probably saw a white light before you blacked out happened the same to me, but this is not a dream if it was why would I feel so real to you then?"

He had a point. The back she was pressed up against definitely felt real but....a game?! She took deep breaths, trying to calm down and wrap her mind around everything. "W-Where are we going?" She asked.

Cody glanced back at her real fast before returning his eyes onto the terrain, "it's a safe place been there for a year anyway." As to prove his point, light was up ahead. A base carved into rock, as he went into the garge, he stopped the cycle, then looked back at her. "Lydia just try and stay calm I'm not really alone here not exactly." He heard footsteps come up beside them, "easy john she's shy she doesn't do well with people she doesn't know," John raised an eyebrow. "She knows you though," Cody nodded John took a couple of steps back to give them room.

Lydia looked around at the unfamiliar place and immediately scurried over to Cody's side as someone Cody called John stepped into the room. She tried to stay calm like he asked but it was hard, being in a strange place with strange people.

Cody looked at Lydia, "John go join the others for now." John nodded and ran off, "come on Lydia lets get you settled down and get you in a fresh suit because there are no washers and dryers here." He led her to a room , "so what did I miss while I was here?"
