[IC] The Great Divide (Between XxLyraxX and Card Captor)

"I missed you too." Her eyes widened when she heard that he had frowned. Actually frowned. That just shows how much Lydia must have hurt him. She felt the tears well up in her eyes again and she sniffled. "I-I'm s-sorry. I d-didn't want to hurt you." She mumbled, tears trickling down her cheeks as she stared sadly down at her lap, her ears drooping as she cried.

[Card Captor]

"Please don't cry Lydia, I'm all better now that you're back" Adrian told her. That's when he got an idea; putting the fork down in the lunchbox, he pulled her into a tight hug, then he transformed both of his hand into mist, which then traveled up to her ears and reformed to stroke them. It wasn't easy in the sunlight, but he got used to it soon. That done, he nuzzled her neck while he continued to take in the smell of it

Lydia sniffled again, looking at him with tear filled eyes and hugged him back as tightly as she buried her face against his chest. She felt him start to stroke her ears and her head nudged up against his hand, the neko wiggling closer before finally getting comfortable and settling down as her tears slowed to a stop and she wiped at her face.

[Card Captor]

"There now...you feeling better?" Adrian asked her as he gently squeezed her in his arms. However it was then that he realized what time it was "oh boy. Only five minutes until class starts. You should hurry up an finish that fish if you don't want go hungry" he said as he handed her the lunchbox and the fork. "And by the way, don't be too surprised if you feel my hand somewhere on your body during class, you look like you're in a desperate need of affection, and I'm not going to let something like school get in the way of that. Oh, now that I think about it; it might be a good idea to ask you where you want me to hold you in class." he told her

Lydia accepted the lunch box and took a few more bites of the fish before she was full and handed the rest over to Adrian. When she was done she snuggled back into his arms, a small whine escaping when he said that they would have to go back to class. At his question she looked up at him. "H-Hand?" She asked, knowing that if he held her hand during class she would feel safe and secure knowing he was there.

After Lydia had gave him back the lunchbox, he quickly finished it. "Alright then, your hand. Just make sure you have one of your hands hidden somewhere so that no one can see mine, we don't need to cause a panic" he told her as he started to make his way back to the classroom with Lydia. "Oh! Almost forgot; any requests for lunch tomorrow? I honestly don't really need the lunches I make, they can't sustain me, only blood can. I just make them because it's fun and to keep up appearances, since people are likely to get suspicious if they never see me eat"

Lydia stood and followed Adrian back to the classroom, hiding her ears and tail before she left the roof. She hesitantly took his hand and snuggled close to his side as they walked, not really wanting to be away from him. She knew people were probably looking at them strangely but she didn't care; she had her best friend back. "Sushi?" She asked in a hopeful tone as she looked at him with bright eyes.

"Sure! It's hard to say no when you look at me like that" Adrian replied, enjoying Lydia cuddling his arm. He always loved how cuddly she was, being a big fan of cuddles himself. When they returned to the classroom, Adrian took his seat and hid his arm in his jacket. Then he transformed it into mist which he then moved in front of Lydia's face as a sort of silent message to hide one of her hands

Lydia sat down in her seat and it wasn't long before she saw Adrian's mist arm float in front of her face letting her know he was ready. She quickly hid her left hand underneath her desk, writing with her right hand. Only a few more classes to go and then the day would be over.

With her hand now out of sight, Adrian moved his still misty limb down to her's, where he made it solid again and firmly but gently grabbed her hand. Adrian's smile got a bit brighter when he did, as he was also enjoying this. Using his thumb, he began to stroke the back of her hand 'if she likes having her head and ears stroked, then she should like this too' he reasoned

Lydia felt Adrian take her hand and she smiled happily as she looked up at the teacher who began his lesson. She felt his thumb start stroking the back of her hand. She liked the feeling, it was very calming.

[Card Captor]

Adrian saw the smile on Lydia's face, feeling rather pleased with himself. However, he soon realized that since the teacher was just giving a lecture, his other hand wasn't doing anything, so he decided to use it make Lydia happier, and that's when he got an idea; hiding his other arm and turning it into mist, he moved it in front of Lydia as a heads up, since he knew she startled easily. That done, he moved his misty limb down into on of her shoes and under her foot. The he pushed her foot up to the roof of the shoe so that he could have room to make his hand solid again, then he began to rub her foot. 'It's too bad she isn't wearing a hat, then I could massage her ears" he thought

Lydia blinked in surprise as she saw Adrian's other misty arm appear before her before disappearing. She jumped slightly at the touch on her foot then had to bite her lip when he began rubbing her foot. A quiet giggle slipped out but it was thankfully covered up by the teacher talking. "T-That tickles Addie." She whispered almost inaudibly but she knew his vampire hearing would be able to pick it up.

[Card Captor]

"Does...does that mean you want me to stop?" he asked in a whisper,a bit worried that he had messed up. Knowing that since her hearing was better, she would have no problem picking that up. In the meantime, the hand rubbing her foot had stopped and was just laying there under her foot, waiting to know what to do next

"P-Please. It's not your fault, I'm just really ticklish every where." She whispered back again, the fingers of her other hand gently tracing shapes on the top of the hand she was holding. she unthinkingly traced the first initials of there names and drew a heart around them before she realized what she was doing, blushed and settled for tracing random shapes and swirls.

Feeling her trace a heart over what he thought was supposed to be their initials, he gave her hand a loving squeeze "so the, what do you want my other hand to do?" he asked in a whisper "if you want me to keep massaging your foot, I'll try to avoid tickling you"

Lydia squeezed his hand back. "Even if you try to avoid tickling me you still will. My foot is very ticklish." She whispered back, keeping her eyes on the teacher so it at least looked like she was paying attention. She didn't need him coming back there and accidently see her and Adrian holding hands; that probably wouldn't go over very well see as the only visible part of Adrian's arm was his hand.

That was really too bad, Adrian had heard that a foot massage was supposed to be both a very intimate thing, and feel amazing. Turning his had into mist and removing it from her shoe, he brought it back to the rest of his body, not sure what else to do with it. That done, he decided to imitate Lydia, by writing their initials in her hand with his thumb before tracing a heart around them

Lydia felt his hand began to trace shapes on her hand, very much like she was doing to him and she smiled, turning her head slightly to smile at him as she gave his hand another squeeze. She couldn't remember the last time she felt this happy.

[Card Captor]

Adrian felt his heart flutter when Lydia smiled at him, her smiles always made him feel warm inside...well, warmer the usual. He was making her so happy with such little effort, and that made him feel giddy. He wasn't sure why, but he had this overwhelming desire to pamper and spoil her rotten. Although right now the only way to spoiler her that he could think of was to feed her fish while she sat on his lap and he was rubbing one of her ears. It was great to have Lydia back, the regret that once plagued him no longer mattered anymore, he had his kitty back. "What do you want me to do with my other hand?" he asked her in a whisper

"...what about you Adrian?" the teacher suddenly called on him

"The Iron Curtain" he answered without skipping a beat

"...Yes, that's correct. I'm honestly not sure how you can be paying attention like that, but clearly whatever you're doing is working"

"That's Adrian for you" a random student commented, causing the rest of the class to laugh
