New and Recruiting role play section

I would like to see a section for advertising of new and recruiting role plays. Perhaps even a sub section were they may be separated into genre categories. This would make it easier for gm and players, and save time in searching for something of interest and open.

That is what the various interest check sub-sections are for (there is one for each level of RPing as well as style and a general one). Or are you asking for something different?

That's for before a role play has begun, to make sure there's interest. One for once it's created, to advertise character opening or just the general role play. I feel stuck scrolling through to find something of interest, only to find that it's closed to new players.

People do post in the interest checks to advertise when they are accepting new players or that they are still open. if you look through some of the Interest checks you will see some of them are listed as Recruiting, one I am in just did this in fact. I don't know that it happens often enough to warrant a new sub-forum.
