Hello fellow RPers. Today I wanted to propose something I've been kicking around for a while, and have actually proposed once before but didn't have the time to actually start up.
In the year 3127 Planet Stratus-A26 is threatened by a monumental asteroid.
After Earth was destroyed in a similar fashion in the year 2610 humanity moved into the stars to find and colonize another home. Almost 500 years later, they face the same threat again. Like before, their missions to divert the cosmic missile have failed for unknown reasons.
The final month of colonial existence has come about, but without the necessary materials or time at hand for mass transit, as was the case on Earth, humanity as a whole faces destruction.
The countdown is 28 days, 14 hours. And it is time for the colonials to decide.
What would you do with your last month?
This RP is going to be very lax on character requirements, however post requirements are going to need to meet the casual ruleset.
While this RP is most definitely about character development and personal choices, the main reason for this RP is to create a world. In this RP we will learn from each other and take ques from one another to attempt to build a collective world. I have left out any significant detail because I want us as players to fill it all in and flesh out the world together.
As far as character reqs go, you can be super in depth or give no information at all. CSs are permitted but will not be required for entry because interaction means getting to know other people, and what's left to know if you already know everything about a person? General appearances will be required within the first few posts so that we can get a feeling of eachother's characters. No pictures for any type of explanation will be allowed (this means environmental or personal).
As previously stated, this RP is meant to build a collective world. I want to see what we as a group can come up with as we use each other as realtime sound boards and react to how each person shapes a part of the world. Let's call it a social experiment, or a experimental story.
It sounds very interesting to me, as I am very interested in how people create their own universes for RPs. Everyone has their methods and preferences, and i would like to know what happens when they all collide.
