Nadia waited and soon the female's breakfast was ready. She hurriedly went and served her her breakfast. "Nadia! That gentleman's breakfast is here!" Her boss called out and Nadia hurriedly went to serve the one at the counter's breakfast

Silvia smiled and thanked her before digging into her meal.

"Oh, of course, how could I forget the specifics." Ru covered up his embarrassment with a awkward, cheeky smile. "A straight black coffee and an English Muffin with butter on the side."

"Uh." Preston sat back down beside him again, taking a deep breath and then exhaling. "Sorry, I guess I'm out of my mind lately. Thanks.", he said as he took the bottle and sipped from it. "I'm not much of a tea drinker, but beggars can't be choosers."

"Right! So straight black coffee with an English muffin with butter on the side" Nadia said, writing it down and handing it over. After awhile, it was ready and Nadia passed it over to him. "Here you go! Enjoy your meal~" She smiled brightly

[Zoriah]

"Truth, truth..." Zoriah said quietly. "How long have you been in Alber?" He asked with a hint of curiousity. "I've lived here all my life, so I understand how most things work around here... in case you need any help, of course." Zoriah said with a hopeful tone, wondering if what little gossip he heard was true.

After working with the plants for a while, Runo sat down to take a quick break. The smells coming from the bakery made him almost wish that he hadn't eaten breakfast at home today, but perhaps he could find an excuse to pop in there later in the day. He could say that he was getting something to bring home to Kiro. Yeah, he could do that.

Looking over at the tiger lilies in the garden he was working in, he couldn't help but feel just a bit sad. How long had it been, now? A year? Maybe a bit longer than that. Sighing to himself, he stood up and went back to work. He couldn't let himself get upset about the past right now.

After serving the two customers, Nadia told her boss that she would be going to go for the deliveries. There were some people that preferred their baked goods delivered and Nadia was all the more happy to do it. Taking the basket filled with baked goods, Nadia went to the houses closest to the bakery, giving out the baked goods as the people that had ordered had paid for it a already. She walked past a house with a garden at the back and went to the front, ringing the doorbell.

When the doorbell rang at the front of the house with the garden he was working in, Runo looked up for a minute, wondering if someone would answer. Wait, weren't the occupants out for the morning? He was pretty sure that they had gone already. Had they been expecting someone? Standing from the flower bed he was working on, he walked around to the front to see a black-haired neko carrying a basket at the door. "Hello? Sorry, I think they're out right now. I'm not sure when they'll be back."

"E-ehh really?" Nadia said, looking at him. She frowned a little and then her face looked brighter "Then, could you place this inside? Its my last delivery, I need to get back to the bakery empty handed" she said, swishing her tail around.

"Sure, I can do that." Runo chuckled a bit; the neko around here could be so cute. "Thanks for stopping by, I'll let them know you brought the delivery as soon as they get back." Looking down, he could see a daisy poking out of the ground nearby, so he picked it and held it out to her. "Here. Just an extra thank you for your hard work."

Preston furrowed his eyebrows, then made a 'meh' hand motion. "About two and a half days, I think, but it's hard to keep track of time in a place like this. I don't understand, I've flown my plane over this part of the mountains before, but this is the first time I've ever noticed a village. Just my luck that there's no cellphone reception out here, or I would have had Marty come and pick me up already.,,"

He stopped, suddenly realizing that he probably sounded like an alien to this person. "Sorry, I guess I got carried away there." He smiled and scratched the back of his head.

Silvia sighed in content as she finished her meal. "That was great as always. " She said flagging down the waiter for the bill. The good food and friendly staff was what made her keep coming here each morning.

[Zoriah]

Zoriah listened attentively, giving a small laugh towards the end of his story. "Out of all the humans that end up here, your story is one of the most interesting so far; almost everyone else has just kinda waltzed in, found a job and things just kinda... worked themselves out." Zoriah said, looking down for a silent moment.

"At any rate," he continued on, " Welcome to Alber, the magical hidden town in the middle of nowhere full of 'freaky cat people'..." Zoriah said with a small smile. "I'm Zoriah... and I haven't been home in nearly two weeks." His smile quickly faded back to a frown. "Annnndd I can only imagine what joy I will find if I happen to run into older townsmen... or worse: my parents." Zoriah shook his head, unfolded his legs and turned himself around, slowly starting to stand up.

Nadia blinked and looked at the flower, blushing slightly and smiled at the guy. No one else except her mother had given her something before. "Thank you" she said happily and took it, looking at the daisy. "Well, I'm off then. Good luck with your work!" Nadia beamed and went off, her tail swishing around like always. She soon reached back to the bakery, seeing that someone was asking for the bill and her boss was busy. "Coming!" Nadia said hurriedly and went to the Lady, getting her bill.

Runo smiled as the neko left to go back to the bakery and turned back to the house. After placing the baked goods inside, he went back to the garden to continue working. He always felt better when he saw people smiling. It made him feel like the world was a brighter place, and it kept him busy from falling back into less happy thoughts. They still seemed to come back so easily, even at this point in time. At least he had ways of distracting himself. This town seemed to have plenty to keep him busy, whether it was work or just interacting with the locals while on a walk.

Hm...perhaps that's what I'll do when I'm done for the day.

Silvia thanked her and went into her pocket to pay the bill as she wondered what else she would do for the day having no real plans.

As the day went on, a certain redhead walked around town, the left side of his face decorated with a gold-painted design of an ivy vine. He occasionally stopped to hand out flyers as he came across people, speaking to them with a lot of hand gestures and his tail flicking around behind him. After making his way through town to eventually find himself in front of the bakery, he stopped to enjoy the scent that always seemed to around one of his favorite buildings. At the growling of his stomach, he thought that maybe it wouldn't hurt to stop in for just a little bit. He hadn't actually eaten that day, having completely forgotten in his haste to get to town.

Entering the building, he headed straight for the counter looking at the available goods for sale that day. "Just as impressive as ever, I see. It isn't my favorite place for no reason, after all."

"Welcome to the bakery! How may I help you?" Nadia asked with a bright smile, her tail swishing around. She looked at the person that just came in and waited for him to order. The neko had bought things here before but not so much of a regular basis, so Nadia couldn't remember what he usually bought.

"I think a blueberry muffin would be good, little Miss. Maybe a shortbread cookie for later, too? Yeah, that sounds good." He flicked the hair from his eyes and gave a smile. This place always cheered him up. "I don't suppose you would be free later today? There's a performance in the plaza this afternoon." He sent her a wink as he left a flyer on the counter. Even if he was hungry, getting an audience wasn't going to leave his mind so soon.
