So, here are some possible characters... you tell me which you like best or if you want me to play a couple of them.))
GUYS
Name: Nikolai Costa
Age: Eighteen
Gender: Male
Race: Moroi
Element: Fire
Personality: Kind, protective, calm, a bit on the teasing side.
History: Nikolai doesn't really have a stand out past... He has a younger sister named Nissa who is sixteen and they get along just fine. He and his parents have a good relationship and he's never really run into any deep problems, aside from one. Nikolai had, at one point, been engaged... she'd been non-royal and at first their relationship hadn't been a problem, they were still in school for one thing. He'd had an identical twin brother named Christopher who was also a fire wielder and who was several minutes older than he was, making him the Prince of the family and leaving Nick to do as he'd like... However, Chistopher had had a habit of sneaking out to go to parties and such at Moroi clubs and one night he just didn't come home. An Alchemist later reported having seen him wandering around as a Strigoi, hunting near the club. His family had hired skilled rogue Guardians and a Spirit user... They'd hoped to bring him home alive, but instead Christopher the Stigoi had snuck into his brother's room... just as good at sneaking in as a strigoi as he had been at sneaking out as a moroi. He'd warned Nick to have the family call off the search, Nick had promised to do so in exchange for his life but instead he'd told the rogues of the break in and the house was fortified and the search intensified... In retaliation, Strigoi Christopher had killed Nick's non-royal and under protected girlfriend and her family. The Guardians kept looking but never found Christopher... it was assumed he'd left the country (Russia) and that they'd missed their chance. When the exchange program came up, Nick was one of the few to sign up for the opportunity to transfer schools. He wanted to leave the memories behind and have a new start... even if it would be in his senior year... But now he's started getting letters and they are always signed with a drawing of a rose, Chistopher's calling card when he'd still been alive and writing letters to love struck girls... Nick has kept them a secret, he remembers what happened to the girl he'd loved and now the threat is aimed at Nissa, his little sister who is also receiving letters...

Personality: Jace isn't an easy one to peg... To some he comes off as kind, somewhat shy, playful, if a bit sarcastic, but despite his shy demeanor he can turn on the charisma as easily as flicking a switch... He is a touch short tempered though he hides it behind a charm that is impossible to deny. Underneath all that charm though is the real Jace, and he always has a plan... always a use for those he spends his time with and he doesn't waste his time with many. He has carefully maintained that shy, sweet, playful cover and hardly anyone knows what he's hiding behind the mask... or why. Jace keeps his Spirit Use a secret by posing as a fire user and skipping classes whenever an actual definitive show of power is required. If anyone starts asking questions he compels them not to worry about it and this has kept the teachers off his back for quite some time.
History: Jason is an only child with a Moroi mother and father who were hardly ever around. His parents were always busy doing something more important than taking care of their child, courtly duties etc... So, Jace was left to his own devices. At first he was a good child, very sweet when his father was around but very manipulative. He discovered that if he tried hard enough he could usually get whatever he wanted so long as it was things or money and not their time... His mother, on the other hand, had always been uneasy around him and he knew it... he used that to his advantage too, purposefully intimidating her whenever he needed to to get what he desired... He remembers well all the times she laid hands on him when he was a child and he doesn't forgive easily. He isn't used to taking no as an answer, not since he came into his powers, and he can be so very very persuasive. Still, despite his nasty personality under the mask he wears around everyone... there's a hole in him and only part of it is caused by his near constant use of Spirit. The hole is one he keeps trying to fill by manipulating those around him into caring about him and doing what he wants... He's never really had anyone care about him on their own, not even his father. Though the man tries to fake it, Jace is highly intelligent and can't help feeling like his father wouldn't even notice if he vanished off the face of the earth and when or if he did that he'd only be mildly disappointed... and as for his mother... The woman would be relieved. Because of his Mommy issues Jace has an innate mistrust of women, he finds them beautiful things to look at but not something to be trusted or relied upon... Every girlfriend he has ever had he has dropped within days and mostly he's kept to one night flings... If anyone were to see through his mask and see him for the lonely, empty person he is... he isn't sure what he would do... compel them to forget maybe? He doesn't need anyone... right? Besides, he doesn't want anyone seeing the scars in his soul or even coming close to learning about his past... a past that he'd kill to keep under wraps.

Personality: Just like her element, she is a very giving and generous person. Honestly she gives too much sometimes, not remembering that she too has needs. She volunteers around her community, a town a few miles away from the Court, and spends most of her time with humans. Her day job is baking, though, since she's always been sort of awesome at it. Also, like her element, she is hard to move once she is decided on something. Her decisions are usually cemented in her mind.
History: Without a royal background, Melissa was raised in as close to a human family as the Moroi world comes close to. Her parents both worked as teachers at the local high school, one a math teacher, the other an English teacher. Growing up that teaching background honestly help Melissa pass her classes. She wasn't anything very special through out her life, but she did well for herself. In high school she found that she liked politics, starting her career young as an assistant to a Court lawyer once she was out of school. She stayed with the firm for a few months before deciding to stick with schooling until she was completely done with it. This left her open for a lot more classes, taking as many as she could gratefully.
As for her love life, well...she hasn't had much of one. Her last boyfriend was some guy in junior high, he was a jerk and she just ended it by not talking to him anymore.

History: Being raised by the Dashkov's Princess, Candice was practically born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Though, she wasn't exactly raised by her mother, since her mouth had to be the head of the entire family. She pretty much grew up at the school, becoming friends with pretty much all of the royals their first year. Many people liked her just because she was laid back about mostly everything, rising to become one of the most popular girl in her grade. Her mother did bring her home for breaks, wanting to spend as much time as she could with her daughter before she graduated.

As the only daughter of Tasha Ozera, the woman that killed the previous queen, and the niece of two Ozeras who chose to become Stigoi her name is pretty muddy... and she doesn't take provocation over it very well... as I said... she can have a short temper.
