SHAYNE

"This is barmy." The brunette girl remarked to her friends as she finally plopped down on the bunk beside her long time, and best, friend Seamus Finnegan. She had finally finished.her disillusionment charms and muffling spells on the room. She had insisted on doing it because.of how this year was already looking. Seventh year of Hogwarts should have been the greatest time of her life, but instead, she had ran away from home to return against her uncle's will. She sighed, leaning her head on Seamus' shoulder briefly. "Snape is headmaster, and we've got Death Eater teachers. This year is going to be warped."

"Shay, look at it this way, at least we're all here. We'll have each other's backs." Ginny Weasley calmly explained. They were in the dorm room that Shayne had been sharing with Ginny and Constance, better known as Connie, simply because the common room... well no where really was safe. Shayne lifted her head and looked to Dean and Neville and then to Seamus. It just wasn't the same without the trio.

Shayne stood again and began pacing. She could barely sit still she was so unsettled by the events of the night. Thia group here, she knew, all of them would be targets throughout the year because.of their loyalty to Harry. She moved over to the window, and she touched the disillusioned glass, thinking. "At least we still have Flitwick, McGonnagell, and Sprout here." She whispered.
