Introduction
Hey there. So, first things first - this really isn't what I'd usually be interested in, but I got inspired and wanted to give something like this a shot. I am female, but will be playing a male character for the below plot (because practice makes perfect). What I'm looking for is someone to play the female character. You must:
- Roleplay through PMs.
- Write literate and descriptive posts of good quality. Length is no issue as long as the post itself is well-written.
- Use proper spelling, grammar and punctuation. That means no run-on sentences (I can't stand those).
- Work with me to carry the plot, and not be afraid to throw in dramatic plot twists.
- Have few, if not no limits with regard to mature themes. Such themes will contribute to character development; I'm not looking for a smutfest.
The Plot
MC = My Character, YC = Your Character
MC and YC have been best friends since childhood, practically inseparable. They attended the same high school, the same college, and now they share a luxurious apartment in the city. MC is the product of a working-class family. He is quiet but strong, introverted and compassionate - a dreamer who composes film scores. YC is a businesswoman and an only child, born to wealthy parents and brought up with everything she could ever want. She is stubborn, fiercely outgoing and energetic - an ambitious go-getter. YC has always sought emotional connections in the wrong places, with the wrong people, trying to find some kind of fulfillment that she cannot get from her successful career. MC has always been there to comfort and support her when things go wrong, and celebrate with her when times are good. Despite MC's sweet disposition, he is exceedingly loyal to YC and extremely protective of her, having been in love with her since high school. Unfortunately, YC has never realized this and MC has never managed to muster up the courage to admit it. This roleplay will deal with how their relationship eventually goes beyond the status of "just friends", and all the trials that come with it.
Oh boy, it's starting to sound like a soap opera already. This RP will have its ups and downs, its fluffy and heartbreaking moments. There are many potential wrenches we could throw in their path to happiness, which we can discuss in OOC. Additional characters will be shared between the both of us.
