Happy that Buck thought well of his idea, he spurred his horse and followed behind him, on the trail to Mexico. It would be one hell of a ride: it would take at least the rest of the day to get there, but Joseph had a good feeling about this. Although he knew little of this plague and what it was or how it worked, he still had a good idea of where to go. He had never been to Mexico, so his geography would depend purely on Buck's knowledge, but he was sure things would be better. The Mexicans had always been able to fight for their freedom; after multiple revolutions and separation from Spain, they had gone through some tough times. Surely they had been able to keep the undead hordes at bay.
