Do not refresh the page if you get the white screen, just open a new window. Even if your post isn't showing up right away be patient and know that it will show up eventually. Sometimes this can take quite a few minutes.
If you do get a duplicate post and make a request to have it removed please have the courtesy to use the permalink url for each post and use the code to make an actual link for the post to be hidden. This makes our lives easier.
Also bear in mind this will mess with the post count since the post is still technically there.
