Super Robot Wars RP?

I know that there are people on this board that are familiar with the series in question. A few RP's have popped up every now and again, but the site overall has had very few Mecha RP's that have lasted a long time. Here is what I'd like:

1) Since we may not know every series (if this gets interest) that we apply, we start from the beginning of the story, just like a debut in the games. No immediate final season upgrades.

2) I'd like there to be a few scripted events in order to establish characters and said characters getting their mecha. This being SRW however, we'll obviously have to take a few liberties with some plots in order to mesh the world into something coherent (dates, times, past characters meeting characters they shouldn't), etc. Also there will obviously be cross-series stuff, so some stories plot might actually change, due to characters being in places they normally wouldn't.

3) If another person takes interest, we can have 2 people and me. I don't mind an extra person.

4) We can have originals, and even take an existing one.

Please reply if you're interested and tell me your favorite series('s), etc.

Heroman (Have not finished, but almost)
TTGL
Gundam Unicorn
Gundam SEED (Only on episode 11 right now)
Gundam (The original. I'm only on Episode 4 but it's cool.)

And here are ones I've finished, but are just ok to me:

Just out of curiosity, which games have you played? I've beaten both Z2 Games and I'm in the middle of playing W, and J.

I've played bits of OG 1, Z2 and L, and I've finished J and W! So...the opposite of you, I guess!

And the last time I did a RW 1x1, doing too many series led to a LOT of them just being background characters, so perhaps we should keep the series list small? But, I'll probably use TTGL, Getter Robo, and....original Gundam, I think.

That's a bit funny, us pretty much beating the opposite games, lol.

Alright, in that case I'll be drawing from Heroman, Mazinkaiser SKL, and Gundam SEED.

I'm pretty sure Mazinkaiser SKL, Getter Robo, TTGL and Heroman can exist altogether on a version of planet Earth, if we just alter a bit of each stories plots and a few dates around a bit. However, I don't think Gundam SEED and the original Gundam can coexist with each other or the other series under normal circumstances.

Here's what I think we should do. We have our original, modern day Earth, which I'll dub "Super Robot Earth", with which exists TTGL, Getter Robo, Mazinkaiser SKL, and Heroman.

And then we have the universes and Earth's of both the original Gundam series, and Gundam SEED.

We'll use the plot point from Z2 (don't know if you got that far) about "dimensional quakes". And we'll use the Dimensional Beast enemies too. I'd like you to pick a point in Gundam with which both the main characters, and their enemies get drawn to Super Robot Earth. I'll pick one too for SEED.

Up until that point, events in the Gundam and SEED universes will be scripted, until they get transported into the Super Robot Earth(and mostly on Super Robot Earth, but obviously only until the protagonists get their mech, and the enemy is revealed).

How's that sound, you get everything I just said?

Well, you did. And you didn't mention their were other ongoing threads, you posted your own, and yours is the only "active" one left. I bet you didn't know I (tried) to run one once, didn't you? it didn't get off the ground.

All I wanted to do was have a private role-play with one or two people. Why does that make you think I would be interested in yours? the easiest way to contact me would just be to PM me and ask if I know yours exists, right? instead you came into my Interest Check (without my consent) posted your RP, and you didn't even express interest in mine. And to top it all off, one of your members taunts me.

I'm trying to keep myself as civil as possible, so here's the deal. Do not come into my thread and interrupt my conversation, please. Don't advertise your RP on my thread without permission. Interest Checks are fundamentally used to express Interest in one's RP. If you want interest in your RP, make your own.

I wish you luck in your own RP. That's all I have to say to you. Don't bother replying to me, because I'm not going to respond.

I'm not gonna curse at you or yell. Just move along please until the Mod comes, I'd like to put my RP back on track.

It's done with now, don't worry about it. I pm'd a Mod, they'll see this then move on.

We rename the calender CE 0079, and move around a few events we'll figure out as we go along. "Earth Federation" becomes "Earth Alliance" like in SEED, these both to signify the conjoined universes.

After the events that kickstart the plot of both series (Heliopolis Destruction and attack on Side 7), Char and his crew should meet up with Rau le Creuset and his, and White Base and Archangel. Starting the "One Year Bloody Valentine War".

But, somewhere along the way the main characters all get caught in a "Dimension Quake" and end up in Space in the "Super Robot" Dimension.

yeah,, yeah, sounds good to me. Perhaps we could merge Heliopolis and Side 7 into a single colony, and have the two "gundam projects" be competing or sister projects? No need, but I kind of always wanted to do it that ay if I were to write a crossover, so might be indulging myself a bit.

Not only that, the characters in SEED that are Newtypes can actually be called Newtypes when the name eventually gets used in MS Gundam, like Rau Le Creuset and Mu La Flag!
