[IC] NozomiCrimson and Chocobo's RP

[NozomiCrimson]

Crimson paused as well and nodded to him, her face a mix of fear, fatigue, and anticipation, "I know, I'm not exactly expecting to to be honest with you. I'm not quite in shape to be battling if the opportunity arises and I need to. But we'll see how this goes." She gave a light smile.

[Chocobo]

Burin was hoping a battle would come of this, in training he had always beat his brothers. He had even won when the yard master sent 3 at once against him.
"The kings men aren't that tough." Burin said with a hint of arrogance.

[NozomiCrimson]

Crimson smiled lightly at him, "Maybe not for you. You grew up learning how to fight with a sword. As for me, if I get into a fight I won't last but a few moments. I don't know how to wield a sword and I'm sure I hardly fight well with this dagger." She shrugged.

[Chocobo]

Burin laughed slightly at Crimson
"If you do end up having to fight, it shouldn't be too hard. Kings men see a cute little elf girl, I doubt they'd probably rather mate with you than kill you"
Burin smiled slightly before carrying on his walk, steel plate clanking with each step.

[NozomiCrimson]

Crimson shuddered, "Well that certainly won't happen with any of them anytime soon. They'll be dead before they can lay a hand on me, I'll make sure of that." she picked up her pace and followed him quickly.

[Chocobo]

After some few minutes of walking, Burin decided to ask the burning question on his mind
"Where did you find the power to command those beasts earlier?"
Burin shuddered slightly after saying it, he was about to commit the highest act of treason possible, going against the sacred oaths he made long ago.

[NozomiCrimson]

Crimson blinked at him a moment and then nodded, understanding his curiosity, "It isn't a power at all. As a child, my family had close ties with those wolves and their pack." A sad look grew in her eyes. "We've always been able to calm animals. We sheltered them when poachers wandered our forests. And after my family was killed by you slavers, they didn't have anyone else to look to. But now that they know I'm still alive, they'll try to help me as much as they can."

((I feel like that was just confusing >.< I'm sorry if it was))

[Chocobo]

Burin quietly nodded along, he thought about how easily he could just capture or kill Crimson and return to his king. But things would never change that way, things needed to change. The elves are crucial to the evolution of the world, but in captivity they are nothing.
"Well... Let's carry on I guess" he mumbled to himself.

[NozomiCrimson]

Crimson nodded and continued walking with him. She rolled her shoulders a bit, "How do you wear such heavy stuff? Doesn't this, I don't know, slow your movements? It seems counterproductive if you're also carrying one of those heavy swords.."
She knocked on the chest plate, her eyebrows furrowing together a little.

[Chocobo]

Burin laughed a little before answering her question
'Not all of us are as nimble as you little elves, it's better for us to have defends rather than mobility'
Burin raised his rather large sword in his air
'And this, well, how else am I crush to my foes?'

[NozomiCrimson]

Crimson nodded and when he said what he did it made sense, "Sometimes I forget how different certain races are from each other.."
She rolled the dagger hilt in her hand as they walked, glancing around them, ahead of them, as well as behind them at times.

[Chocobo]

Burin turned to face Crimson
"One more thing, a little dagger like that won't take down something like a dragon"

[NozomiCrimson]

Crimson looked up at him and blinked, "A...dragon? We aren't going to have to worry about a dragon are we?"

[Chocobo]

Burin nodded slowly
"Probably, and if we do, we'll probably die"
He sighed deeply
"Thats how most people go"

[NozomiCrimson]

Crimson shrugged a little, "Well, if we happen upon a dragon, I'm not necessarily going to expect to win." she laughed lightly and scratched the back of her head.

[Chocobo]

Burin heard a roar in the distance, the odds were against him it seems.
"Speak of the devils" He sighed before pulling Crimson to the ground.
He led down flat on the ground "I realize this seems a tad unlikely, but there may be a dragon headed our way"

[NozomiCrimson]

Crimson just blinked, astonished, "Seriously? Man, I was hoping we didn't run into any of those..." She heaved a slightly disheartened sigh and looked up into the sky and around without moving too much.

[Chocobo]

Within a few seconds of the roar a large azure dragon came soaring towards Burin and Crimson, it landed a few feet away from the them.
The dragon let out another roar, a roar that nearly made their ears bleed.
It stared them down for a few things before preparing a fire breath attack.

[NozomiCrimson]

Crimson's eyes widened and her ears rang from the roar the beast let out. She scrambled to get to her feet to move out of the way of the beast, figuring that whatever it was doing, wasn't going to be good for them.

Burin stared the beast down for a moment, before it shot a fireball towards Burin which he barely dodged
"We could have some trouble here" Burin yelled over to crimson
He drew his weapon and prepared to fight
