Appearance: Devon Years of training has gifted Devon with strength and a body to match, but his years on the battle field has also given him a multitude of scars in varying stages of healing and fading. His skin a natural caramel, it's only darkened by his time in the sun. Matching his hematite like sheen as a dragon, his hair is a silky jet black, usually pulled up and out of the way. His dragon form towers above his human one, his jaw and forehead framed by sharp horns and spikes, though his scales lay smooth and flush to his skin. Name: Devon Drakehart Age: 25 Species: Shifter Personality: At first meeting, Devon is stand-offish and quietly angry seemingly all the time. Defensive and sarcastic, he keeps nearly everyone at arms length or farther. He is used to being treated like a horse or a sword, and considers himself a tool and not really a person. Underneath it all he is really quite insecure and just wants those one or two people to cling to, he yearns for a family he thinks he doesn't deserve. Background: Devon grew up without a family, his father never mentioned and being given a different story about his mother each time he asked. He quickly gave up on ever figuring out his parents and instead clung to a fellow orphan. Kidda was his first and only friend, and when he was drafted into the military for being a dragon shifter, she followed. They became a well tuned machine on the battlefield, working together almost as a single unit. Age 23 Species Human Appearance Luka stands at 5'10 with a fairly lean build. He has fair skin with few blemishes. His hair is short and dark brown and his eyes are dark green. He typically wears contacts, but has a set of rectangular frames he wears every once and a while. Personality Luka's often been described as charismatic. He's friendly and easy to talk to. His patience knows no bounds, but when he starts to get irritated he gets a bit sarcastic and snippy. He's caring and protective, especially when it comes to his family. He also has a tendency to be a smartass. He's quite modest and becomes flustered easily. Background Luka was born to a doctor and a blacksmith, and despite his parents being exceptionally busy people, they made sure to spend plenty of time with their children. This mean Luka, his older brother, and his younger sister helped their parents with their jobs often, all of them becoming knowledgeable in the ways of forging and mending. Luka preferred working alongside his mother, the doctor, while his older brother had a knack for blacksmithing. Their younger sister didn't seem too interested in either, instead training to work with dragons and other animals. When the war began, his sister became a rider while his brother entered as a foot soldier and Luka as a medic.
