[OOC] After the Invasion: 2040 CE

Welcome to earth, 2040 CE. Aliens have wept the most potent of the grand political forces that ruled among Terra. The whole of the Americas is a sinking ruin, submerged by the ultra-ballistic missiles from the aliens. Asia is rife with debris from the planet crackers used by the aliens in the World's War of 2030. A canyon runs from Berlin to Beijing. Africa is divided between lush and mostly untouched paradises, and barren, mutated deserts with bio-debris left over from the 'Xenokahn', the aliens that ruined earth. Europe is a seeping, festering scum hole of a radioactive ruin. Antartica, thanks mostly to the alien super weapons, has been restored to 2.5x it's greatest height. The oceans are a spectrum of rot, ranging from viral tides of violet and red to polluted greek-blacks. Not an inch of the earth is unscathed, and Terra managed to destroy the fleet thanks to the brilliance of one man, Nikkolaus Jonohan.

Sorry, but very suddenly my interest waned. The main hope for my nation to survive and grow stronger is very primarily based on the ocean. If the ocean is dying, and therefore the wildlife in it, then there is... well, nothing to live on. The ocean is the primary resource my people would have, besides vast, uninhabited desert.

And I much preferred mysterious disappearance, and a couple wrecks floating in space, with something hard-to-reach on the ground or in the water for bickering over. If this Nikkolaus could manage to defeat the alien fleet, he'd have the world united and there wouldn't be bickering nations.

He died shortly after. Theres always something to bicker about. As for the oceans, It is saltwater anyways.
