Looking for an odd medival style roleplay? I got one for you right here! Check it out.

The story is based off the games in the francise 'warband, but more pretecularly, the singular game, 'mount and blade', as it is my first and favorite.

In the Continent of mojhorn, all was once at peace. The people where united by a single ruler who justly controlled the world so that all where equally happy as best to his abilities as possible. All was well, the people where rich, and everyone was happy. unfortunately, the only people who felt suffrage, where a group of warlords. They grew tired of the peace, finding it too dull, and it's lack of chance to claim land left them feeling high and dry. Because of so, an unknown warlord sent an assassin to murder the ruler and all his associates. The assassin worked their job rather well, killing a total of 12 government officials in their wake. Without these people to control the continent, turmoil fueled the land, and the warlords quickly lashed out against each other for the chance to be ruler. Though many fought, the majority united into small factions. To this day, the groups are still at battle. A total of nine separate kingdoms hold officials claims, and, though they still hope to follow up the mission established 87 years ago, they have settled down, and work more to control their countries. You, be you a peasant, a soldier, a warlord or even an official or king, live in this land. No matter your status, age, gender or past, are bound to put a mark on the history of this continent. Perhaps you will be the next ruler, or maybe you'll be known as a heartless marauder....only time will tell.

The kingdoms are:
Messland: Messland is a land of think forest. These people are known to be much like druids in their ways of life. They are kind to the earth, beleive deeply in nature over science, and are prone to using their surrondings to their advantage. The people here live simple lives, and are known for their amazing skills as hunters. Because of this, their warriors are just as saught out. The Messlanian archers are some of the best in the world, reknown for their aim, speed and above all, the ability to track and hide from their prey, no matter what it is. Because of this, many other kingdoms see them as beast-like or savage, but this is untrue. Though they have iron and steel, the blacksmiths are poorer here, and because of so, the weapons and armor is more likely to be made of crude armor, and more than likely, leather. These are their officals. Osogoth is the equivelent to their king, but he works more as a cheiftan, being seen more as the strongest member in government. Still, the parliment base, or visogoths, can override his power at times. Journeymen are their type of knight.

Urbil: Urbil is the closest to southern country to the kingdom of Messland. This country is a very mountainous region. The people here are very diffrent to those of their above stated counterpart. The mountains here give many great metals and gems, but heavy infantry is impossible to them, do to the terrain. Do to so, the people of urbil have instead focused on heavy weaponry. The people of Urbil are mainly blacksmiths and miners, as metal is seen as the source of all power to them. The people here are very callous and strong do the the constant excerssize that is their job. Because of their raw power, the people often are sought out when fighting heavy infantry. Their weapons of choice are pikes and hammers particularly. Most of these are very heavy, but the people hear enjoy this, and the heavier one's weapon, the more worthy they are seen to be. Here, the people are blunt, and diverse. The Biggest issue of the Urbil people is that the mountains seperate them. Because of so, news, supplies, and reinforcements are slower. But, this is also an advantage, as it is the most natural defense possible. The government consist of an oligarchy, but each major city has it's own minor government. The warriors here are known as the "hadra Broder" and are hand picked by clan leaders in each city to be recruited. It is concentrated a stoic job to be one.

The horde: The horde is known as this by the other counties, but to themselves they are known as enjambre. These people are a group of traveling hunters and gatherers. The few set up cities that they have are lively watering holes for the traveling warrior men to train and learn. The people of the horde are revered most for their skill on horse. Be it using a bow, or a lance, they can do almost anything like a normal man while galloping at high speeds. Because so, their cavalry is some of the best in the world. Still, much like the issues of messland, they refuse to get with the times. With little metals in their possession, the people of the horde often where crude leather and wicker armor. The amount of metal they do get, is usually from their fast traveling caravans. This is also their only source of outside communication, and because of so, they are very slow on new technology. The people here are very stubborn, but go by a policy of being gentle to all who let them be, and doing all they can to destroy those who stay in their way. Much like the natives of america, the horde has no written language, and are very unique in their lookout on life. The people of the horde are controlled by a single chieftain, but their is one for each clan. These chieftains listen to their ruler, who controls in a theocracy. This man is known as the messiah. They are considered selected by a god, and are deemed to know all about the topic of their god that chose them. The warriors are known as 'trailblazers'

Ishitar: Ishitar is a country born in the desserts. These people where the few people who refused to fight for their warlords, and thus where banished or escaped from their lands. The desert was their picked choice because it's hard to be tracked and few people care to travel or conquer it. The people here are very skill at their jobs, but are not the greatest of warriors. The land of ishitar is known more for it's artisans and caravans. The Artisans are some of the best artist, pottery makers, wine makers, and are renown for their work with glass and precious gems/metals. But the people of this desert lands, have another, darker skill. While their real warriors are under trained, cowardly, and ill prepared, they have another type of fighter. The ishitar have an unknown class of elite warriors who are more like ninjas than anything. These fighters are some of the best at covering tracks, hiding, snooping and silent espionage. While many expect little of the fighters here, they wont be prepared for the knife in the back by one of these shadowy sneaks. This is the true power of ishitar. The people of this land live in clans, each clan has a leader. The greatest leader is a dominate ruler, who's word is law, but knows better than to disrespect the man clans. Each clan is united by at least one marriage. The normal warriors are known as the motherless, as it is made of those who have no parents, commit crimes, join, or have no home. The elite warriors are known only as the widowers, but are not supposed to spoken of.

Aldvisheim: This is the land of viking-like people. With unique weapons, and a particularly favorite being the ax, these people are a very battle based people. The people are mostly either peasant farmers who all bare arms to battle when needed, or blacksmiths who work all their life in this craft, the people of aldvisheim are all warriors. Do to being poor, man wear light armor, simple weapons like farm tools, axes, or spears, and only helmets of iron. Because of this, the people are very quick in their raids, being very diverse, and quick. Unlike the others, the Nordic people of this land are artisans only in war. They get most of their supplies by raiding other countries and attacking caravans or travelers. This being said, they are more than mere bandits. The war tactics of these people are simple, effective, confusing to their foe. The land they live in is cold and practically useless without proper skill of how to use it. The only people who understand how to mind, farm or live in this cold and harsh land are the people and their servants. All captives are turned to servants, but are usually treated like family, and are allowed to join the people after proving their desire to serve the people. The only warriors who use real battle axes or swords, are the royals of this land. The royals are the king or queen, their uncles or aunts, and the kings children. To pick a king, every year a tournament is put out. Anyone who comes in will be tried in different scenarios of combat. Only the one to come out in every issue he is faced with is the crowned king or queen. The weakness of this kingdom is not their soldiers or fortifications, which are almost unparalleled, but their beliefs. The Aldvisheimian people are too proud and will blindly walk into traps for the sake of this. Warriors are known as hoplites.

Kungland: Lastly, is the odd group, known as kungland. Kungland is often not talk about by the other counties. This is because of it's true isolation from the world. Kungland, unlike the other mainland kingdoms, Kungland is made up of a bunch of islands, but the mainland and three major other islands are main place for these people. The people here are not the most adept fighters, nor are they artisans. Still, they have the most advanced technology. These people make up for their lack of population or warriors, with advanced technology, such as primitive cannons, advanced ships, and unique tactics. The ships are their main line of defense, as it is something they do better than any other country. The main weapon of choice for these people are either throwing javelins or the long bow, but this is only when faced with combat off their boats. The tzar is the ruler of this land, and happys to have a dynasty to choose who is next in line. besides this, a parliment made of elected represenatives is also in play, but is a minor role in the gov. Warriors here are referred to as knights.
