Here's the story. Have a friend who wants to learn D&D. He lives far away. I'm quite used to tabletop gameplay on an actual tabletop (dorm floor, patio, lawn, etc) but uncomfortable with trying to work/teach the dice mechanics and stats/rules over long distances.
Was hoping to find a player comfortable with handling this aspect of the game. I would be happy to play along as a PC only or handle the story part of the adventure as long as I had another experienced at handling the other mechanics via computer and would be willing to help teach/explain that aspect of the game to a new player and help run that aspect of things as co-DM if needed.
Anyone game feel free to send me a PM or post here and we can talk things out. I'm very willing to work with anyone who is willing to help me out in this; love spreading the love of D&D to others.
